After the game at the weekend, I'll put money on the getting at least one penalty. Their fans will be up the refs arse from the off. Hopefully he can cope.

we are gona ****ing win this game. I don't know how, but we will. This will be one of the highlights of the season. 0-2 to the mighty hammers and a belting atmosphere.

I have the same vibe - OT not scary anymore and we've got their measure.
Yesterday was just the entree.

Is Reid not suspended for this one as well as it was his 2nd suspension of the season ?

Think your being a bit generous to Slav based on his inability to make obvious adjustments during the opening 10 games of the season, but I hope you are right.ironsjh wrote: Reckon we'll win, Slav tends to learn what went wrong when he doesn't beat he time and adjusts next time round.
Looks like Sakho is out. I'd bring in Adrien, Fernandes, Reid and Ayew.

Dropping Randolph would give the mancs a right lift
Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
With all the striker injuries we have (as usual - 7 players out) I'd start with Zaza or Fletcher and I'd have Martinez on the bench - he's the only striker regularly scoring goals at West Ham these days

Looking forward to this, and hoping for a win...0-2, 1-3...something like that would do very nicely.

I think we should use this as an opportunity to give players like Oxford, Feghouli, Fletcher, Fernandes and Ayew a proper chance. When we played Chelsea at home with a full strength team in the last round we then looked very leggy against Everton and were comfortably beat.
I would love to see us get to Wembley but i really think this is a great opportunity to give them all a run out.
Adrian,
Oxford, Reid, Kouyate
Fernandes, Obiang, Lanzini, Cresswell
Feghouli, Payet
Fletcher
Bring on Ayew and give rests to Noble, Ogbonna and Antonio.

I'm going to pull my teeth out if one more person includes the injured Oxford in their line-ups.

Sod the league. We're not going to go down and we're not going to finish top 8. Prioritise the cup.harryhammer66 wrote:I think we should use this as an opportunity to give players like Oxford, Feghouli, Fletcher, Fernandes and Ayew a proper chance. Play 2 strikers. Antonio had the beating of that LB all game just need some better options in the box.
I would go with both Ayew and Fletcher starting

Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
Anyone know what pubs we'll be in before the game?
Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
Is the correct answer. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow more than usual away games, we're in with a decent chance and I'll take a win even if it sabotages the result against Arsenal (which we'll probably lose anyway).James P wrote:Sod the league.
Wednesday night?
Anybody no how many tickets are sold? Sunday effort was mustard hoping its another big away contingent
