Colours never run wrote:They had the comprehensive sample size needed to gauge the wider feelings of the fanbase more than any other. But sadly they consciously chose to heavily load the questionnaire in the answer they clearly wanted to hear. That was the problem, not the sample size itself which would have been a fair reflection. And as soon as they loaded it up like **** in their favour, there was never ever going to be a fair assessment of true sentiment amongst our fanbase and rendered it a pointless excerise.
And they failed to report their sampling and in particular how many of those voting were existing season ticket holders compared to those who were just on the data base.
Brady made sure that in every way it was a poll run to give her the required result.

Anyone who regularly attends football matches could have told them how to resolve most of the issues they've faced at the Bowl this year.
I'm not amazed, but yes, it could have been soooo much better. And the majority of issues could have been resolved with proper engagement with the fans. All of the fans.
I'll be renewing, but they have done a shoddy job and made a difficult transition much much worse than it need have been.

Not expected but understandable,
That's how much we love the club that most of us will still come back even though they've treated us like ****.
It's why a club like ours was always a sure thing for them. This talk of us going under was farcical. Would we have gone into administration? Maybe. Would that have been the end of us? No chance.
The way things are going at the Bowl though the club are alienating the very fans that have always been there.

Only it's not an accurate sample of those 50k though is it? It's those within the group of a certain age and mentality, so likely to be biased. Not saying it is wrong but I doubt very much you would have the same result if you randomly targeted 1% of STHs from each block next week.

It's a lot less biased than the joke of a poll that concluded 85% were in favour of the move. That poll was not even specifically targeted at match attending supporters either.
An interesting litmus test will be the partake of STH tickets for the FA cup game. Appreciate that historically cup games do attract a different demographic, but at UP most around me for were consistent ST's at cup games.
For the Citeh cup game, for time in donkeys, I will give the 3rd round a swerve. It'll be like a 'dip your toe in the water' of a slow withdrawl process.
Can imagine the 50k waiting list can fill their santa sacks with tickets.
