Among the things we should give the fat greedy git credit for is that he can take it as well...ear cupping apart! Can you imagine him flinching an inch under the hammering he's gonna get? Until and let's not forget if they go in front, I'm going to enjoy every minute.

Sam will know we can't break teams down, and haven't scored in three games.
Watch us get frustrated, then picked apart by Zaha's pace.

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
Think we will need 2 to win as that mystical player we appeared to be chasing for lots of transfer windows - Remy - will score. However I believe that Bilic's players probably will want it more than Sam's so see a 3-1 win.
I can see 3 at the back again (unless of course we sign a RB). Noble will be back in alongside Fernandes and Obiang
Randolph
Reid Nortveidt Collins
Antonio Fernandes Noble Obiang Cresswell
Payet
Fletcher (Hogan)
Carroll will come on and score his final goal for us before joining up with Sam again

If that C*** comes on the pitch and scores against us, when he isn't even registered as a player, I'll swing for him. Or demand an FA investigation. Or something.sjb958 wrote:0-1 Allardyce.

Well I thought we had a good chance of turning Abu Dhabi fc over, got that slightly wrong.
Don't fancy us against Palace, so hope I'm wrong again.

Big Sam is on a bad run and would no doubt take love to take an away point.
He'll target home wins to keep them up so will be happy to sit back and hope we can't break them down.

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
Indifferent form for both teams belies the fact that both have some great players who can be the game-changers. Before BFS took them over, I'd have put this one down to be a rip-roaring-goal-scoring game of football . . . one for the neutrals to enjoy perhaps but a great game nonetheless.
Now, with BFS looking to park the bus against us and every other team I haven't got a scooby's how this one will or can pan out.
More than anything, I want to be entertained. Anyone else for a role of the dice on a 4-4-2?

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
Allardyce would counter, so would we. Discipline is key.
Carroll is much better in the air than the CP defenders. Will he get the service?
Benteke will tear Ogbonna apart if he is sloppy. Especially since Cresswell has decided not to turn up of late.
We need both Noble and Obiang for ninety minutes. Can Lanzini tuck in as well?
Score first, this game has the hallmarks of a one nil game.

They are bang average. so are we, but richneal is right, the difference between us is we have players like Lanzini and Payet who can turn the game whenever. We'll come from behind to win this one
Tomkins and Dann to get taken apart by our front line. Both bang average defenders IMO and I hope we expose them.
Payet to put himself in the shop window.

I'll be disappointed if Noble starts.szola wrote:We need both Noble and Obiang for ninety minutes.
We've looked better in the middle without him recently. Yes, I'm aware we've lost the last three games, but we've played our best attacking football all season against Man Utd & City for short periods!
Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
could be that fat Sam gets Slav sacked, oh how much the fat **** would like that and probably the only thing in the minds Of The dildo brothers that will stop them doing it if we don't win.
Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
I can see us giving away another penalty in this. We've got 3 or 4 players in full clumsy mode at the moment so almost guaranteed Townsend or Benteke will be getting a heel clip. Kouyate our biggest miss either at CB or for energy in midfield.
Hoping for 2-1 but could easily see it being 1-1, Reid late equaliser after their penalty.

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
They will be a threat from corners and free kicks with Dann, Tomkins and Benteke crowding out Randolph right in front of goal. Less than impressed with Ogbonna's heading ability so can see us conceding like that. Hopefully, at the other end we might score for the first time after three games goalless. Please lets not have Carroll on his own upfront again.

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
It will be a cagey start, the first 10mins will involve a few clearances and West Ham fans cheering and shouting 'hooooooofffff' at Allardyce's team, then snigger smugly among themselves how he is such a long ball merchant.
Then, Crystal Palace will go on to out play us, on the deck and then end up winning 3-1
