Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Is that really how it works?

So down the side of DasNutNock screen will be a pink bike covered in Bacon?
Wade would have have Karate Schools or Bruce Lee films?
Does Romford have The Emirates/Arsenal?

These are questions that need answering.....

yep thats how it goes, if you view a site and a log of that site is in your history/cookies they then generally spam you.
i look at holiday sites and flights and forever get emails offering discounts etc from those sites for a few days after.

last week in work i was scanning job sites and now the bloke i work with is asking why he keeps getting emails asking if he is still looking for work

Katie Hopkins (spit) losing a libel case
Food blogger Jack Monroe has won £24,000 damages in a libel action against columnist Katie Hopkins after a row over two tweets.
Ms Monroe sued the writer over two war memorial tweets she said caused "serious harm" to her reputation.
Ms Hopkins posted tweets in May 2015 asking her if she had "scrawled on any memorials recently".
Ms Monroe said that meant she had either vandalised a war memorial or "condoned or approved" of it.
In his judgement Mr Justice Warby ruled that the publications had caused "Ms Monroe real and substantial distress" and she was entitled to "fair and reasonable compensation".
After the ruling, Ms Monroe, who also campaigns over poverty issues, said: "It's taken 21 months but today the High Court ruled that Hopkins statements to/about me were defamatory.
"I sued her for libel, and I won."

It's being estimated that once she's paid Monroe's costs and her own, Hopkins could be in the hole for half a million quid.

My next door neighbor was having trouble with his drains and got in a company to check it out.

They had a camera down the drain and we were looking at it on a tv screen in the back garden.

The bloke was explaining what he was doing and asking us did we understand and I said to him

" Yeah it's like a colonoscopy... but in reverse "

You had to be there I suppose :D

Walking along the street and seeing a lady walking towards me with a bra that didn't seem to support her that well so the things were bouncing around a fair bit. As she walks passed the electronic ad board the next ad that comes up is for Sainsbury's and in big orange letters are the words Jiggle!
