You have to get there double early to take the Barmy Army stand, so we got the 2nd best spot.
The best bit was when Root got his 6 to tie the scores in the 2nd game, the camera slow motioned past it as the ball landed down below us :scarfer:

Shows how one good turn deserves another. The tour company organised a boat trip for us, with Curtly Ambrose, Richie Richardson & Kenny Benjamin in attendance. One of our lot pulled out, so I gave a jet ski seller the spare ticket, he had a great time downing the free rum punch. It was him who came to our hotel looking for us, to tell us the the team had just hired all his jet ski's.

Tony Carr at Crewe train station on Tuesday. He was on his way up to Liverpool for a football conference.
I shook his hand and thanked him for all he had done for the club. He seemed very appreciative and came across as a really nice guy.

Went to see filming of Sky Portrait Artist Of The Year today at the Wallace Collection in London. It's done in a relatively small room so plenty of bumping into Joan Bakewell, Frank Skinner, Tai Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano. However, the highlight for me was the huge smile that Rachel Hunter gave me, whilst she was sitting for the artists.

I'd love to go to one of those. One of my must watch TV shows. I assume they were recording an episode for the next series?
