West Ham Utd 1-0 Swansea City (08/04/17)

Post by -DL- »

A must win game.

Not much more to add really. Not going to suggest a team, because no matter who we put out, they will play like they're on valium.

Lose this, we're pretty screwed I reckon.

Lose this and I genuinely believe we are done, can't say I'm that surprised. The positive is that Swansea absolutely collapsed against Spurs, so hopefully their morale is worse than ours. They tactics certainly won't be worse than ours, but morale maybe.

Biggest game of the season. Could be six each, the way we both defend.

It doesn't matter what team we put out, we have a squad of bottlers with absolutely no balls at all

The way we're playing, this and the Sunderland game are the only winnable matches left this season.

I think I'd take 39 points now and wait for August.

Would take a draw right now, not even joking.
Stop the rot, and if we lose we're deep in the sh*t.
More "must not lose" than "must win" in my eyes. It's for them to catch us.

This.

We can't let in two goals like we have in most games in the last 18 months. We need to impose ourselves but do the basics at the back. If we're chasing the game we've got no chance.

A draw's not enough. We have two games left where a win won't be a shock. This and Sunderland away. We don't win Saturday, we'll buckle under the pressure up north.

Have to win this weekend.

Adrian for Randolph with the rest unchanged and the job's a good'un.

Good atmosphere, I imagine.

I do enjoy a relegation battle.

How many goals has Carroll got against this lot for us?

I'll have some of that 39 points thank you. That'll be ample to stay up this season.

I have no idea which way it might go on Saturday, but I agree with others - defeat to Swansea could be a fatal blow.

Win this and we're safe. I've got a feeling we will and quite comfortably.

Have to go 442 or 433 forget any other combination.

Why, as this evening, take off your only striker on the pitch when 1 down and put on another striker,,,,then lose 3-0....

Looking at that defence I can't agree.
