I saw some genuine old-school white dog poo on the pavement yesterday.

We evolved from Apes.
We are still here, apes are still here.
Where is everything in between? The evolutionary steps? Neanderthals, Why aren't they still alive?
Did extinction events wipe them out? Did we wipe them out?

Not exactly true.somerset-hammer wrote:We evolved from Apes.
Apes and humans evolved separately from a common ancestor, sometimes known as 'the missing link'.

If I were to click on one of the obviously fake news adverts you seem to see all over the internet these days, what sort of site would I reach?
The latest one that seems to be following me around is something suggesting that Lord Sugar is OUT OF CONTROL, together with a very badly photoshopped picture of him supposedly with bruises all over his face. Now anyone with half a brain could see it's fake, so exactly who are they trying to attract with this rubbish, and is the link to a site which is full of fake news stories to entertain idiots, or just something trying to get your details for spamming purposes?

Does a seven seater car cost more to insure than a normal size car.

Money is the answer. Similar to this website, they receive cash based on the volume of views they get.southbrishammer wrote:If I were to click on one of the obviously fake news adverts you seem to see all over the internet these days, what sort of site would I reach?

In all probability the story about Sugar will be legitimate, but scarcely even news worthy. They attempt to lure you in with sensationalist headlines and overblown statements, but the content will be accurate, albeit boring and not at all demonstrative of an 'out of control' Lord Sugar. The picture will have no link to the story in most instances, it's just another device to lure you in.
It's called clickbait and it's purely to get dollar from advertising revenue.

Neanderthals were not an evolutionary step, they are considered a separate species.somerset-hammer wrote:We evolved from Apes.

I thought I spotted a London Underground tattoo on Jonjo Shelvey on the box the other day. Anyone got an idea what station it is?
