Re: Little things in life that make you smile
We've had woodpeckers living in the park opposite on and off over the years. One year the little bugger chose to hammer out his territory on the TV aerial attached to our chimney every morning at just after dawn. The echo through the house woke up us and our elderly neighbour.vietnammer wrote:The woopecker in the woods behind our house from first light.
One morning we heard her shouting from across the road by the park railings "Stop it!" " Stop it, now!" at the roof.

Sitting in traffic on the way home when a young girl comes walking up the street with a fantastic pair of double bouncers.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
My nephew who is nearly 10 has been getting bullied for a couple of years by another kid that has a few "issues". Now his school have finally had enough and have expelled the kid...... my nephew is like a completely new child- so happy and full of life. His school work has had a massive improvement too.

Browsing a police discussion forum (to guage approach to a certain subject) and when I opened it, a pop-up appeared saying:
Allo allo allo, what's all this then? It appears you are using an ad-blocker

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Been meaning to buy a small Tv for the spare room. Browsing John Lewis website this morning, noticed a 43" 4K Sony Bravia, heavily discounted to £265 - cheaper than the most entry level 32" Sony I could find anywhere. Called them up to check, they confirmed it was legit and the last one was in their Southampton store. Reserved and collected it today.
Not sure what made me happier - getting that much of a bargain, or the fact I did the return trip at 68mpg in my 11 year old 2.0 TDi.

My Decree Absolute has arrived, and it is now all legally confirmed that she has no claims on me. I'm not sure that she understood all the legal terms, as in according to Clause xyz of the Act of 1975, but it was explained that she has had all the money from me that she is getting and she signed on the doted line. So party time
