Stoke City 0-0 West Ham Utd (29/04/17)
DDLD at theirs and at home ain't looking pretty. Dare I start a match thread? They're on a bad run, whereas we ain't lost in three. Always a challenging place to go for us, but reckon we'll get a draw.

Didn't score for West Brom this season either so his £12m transfer is looking a bit iffy...preston wrote:More likely berahino, not scored for them yet!
Surely good old West Ham won't roll over and help him out?

If we win this I'd be extremely surprised, we'll turn up but probably won't let our hands go and get beaten one or two nil.

In the absence of Noble, who would take it if Big Andy isn't on the pitch? Lanzini I suppose.Puff Daddy wrote:When did we last have a penalty ? Must be due one

This will be the game that finally sees us safe. 0-1 and a fine defensive display.

Depending on injuries/fitness
---------------- Adrian ---------------
------- Reid -- Fonte -- Collins ------
Byram ----------------------- Musuaku
------------Noble -- Kouyate ----------
------ Fernandes ------- Lanzini------
-----------------Sakho -----------
Carroll and Sakho might be able to do a half each...

Re: Stoke City vs West Ham Utd
Looking for 2 tickets for me and my mate for this as I'm based at Keele Uni. PM me please if anyone can get hold of two and I can meet you on the day or something.
Re: Stoke City vs West Ham Utd Match Thread
Wasn't Noble on a two match ban, so will be available for this. Also Byram will have served his suspension.Jumby wrote:

Re: Stoke City vs West Ham Utd
Noble should come back in - and to be honest I'd be tempted to drop Kouyate rather than Nordtveit. Don't think I've been impressed with Kouyate in midfield in a single game this season. It may allow Noble a little more licence to support the attack too. I'd definitely play Sakho ahead of Calleri. As for Byram.... I'd be tempted to play him but at the same time, we looked balanced and energetic for the first time in ages on Saturday and I'm wary of making too many changes.

Thinking the same... Nervy 0-1 or 1-2 win and we can relax and thank the **** this dreadful season is over.Stepney wrote:This will be the game that finally sees us safe. 0-1 and a fine defensive display.
