Re: Little things in life that make you smile
In the car the other day with my missus' and her mum. She's 83 by the way. I was playing some Death Before Dishonor (Boston hardcore band) and she turned me very seriously and said
"Is he singing like that because he's got a sore throat?".
I nearly crashed the car laughing.

A genuinely blue steak makes me smile, ask for it every time I'm out at that kinda place and I can honestly say maybe 1 or 2 joints in 10 do it properly.
But when it's right, boy it's right.

My 8 year old stepson is Messi/Barca mad so i've just bought him a Barcelona bed spread. He doesn't know so i'm going to change his bed and take him up that night so he'll get a surprise. He'll love it and that makes me smile now and will again then

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
I was walking home this evening, listening to some ambient drone music. Stopping suddenly, I looked around. My surroundings weren't especially interesting, but I took a deep breath, felt the cool wind against my face and embraced quite fully the phenomenon of being alive.
What a sensation, when you truly focus on it. What a privilege it is to have such momentary presence. I can't help but be thankful for every meaningless minute of my stupid little inconsequential life.
