More money, more successful club, greater chance of legit European competition, enhances his chances of an international squad place etc.

Because he wont be sold, we don't sell our best players, said David Sullivan, 'convincingly'.

Money (we pay very well), regular football, chance of an even bigger move if he has a great season.

To be honest I wouldn't blame him if we left, adder the season we've had. We've gone backwards but he's still been on it when he's played and has given us two very good seasons, if he wants to better himself and felt that he couldn't do that here who could argue with him? He strikes me as a decent bloke so I hope he'd at least give it one more season, but I tell you what, around better players he'd look World Class.

1 more at best. I suppose a lot will depend where we are sitting in the league this time next year and the players that have been brought in, hopefully of a similar standard as Manu.

Tell you what, with they way they have played under Inzaghi this season, he would fit in incredibly well there.

If I was him I wouldn't go to Italy, take Juve out of the equation and the league is incredibly poor. Imagine Totti trying to play on to his age in the Prem, would never happen, he'd get shown up.

But if we sell him we can become a successful club like Southampton or Tottenham. I read it on this site so it must be true...

Pretty much. Plus I'd add in playing for a manager he admittedly loves playing for and deeply respects. And dare I say, he also loves playing for us milking every minute of it with so much of his career still ahead of him so he's in no rush I'd imagine to leave unless a much much better Club comes knocking. I'm sure he even likes the strong South American contingent that live in and around London to make him feel very at home, as he does with all the Spanish speaking friends he's become very close too whilst at West Ham but that's more assumption than knowing for sure. Lastly Payet, he most certainly ain't.

I've hear much tougher questions to be fair.
