Bilic admitting we wasted too much time on Lacazette and thus missed out on "2nd and 3rd options" last summer.

Sounds like we want business done early, which would be lovely.

Also, not sure anyone else has mentioned it, but Ayew's father has essentially issues a "come and get me" plea to Marseille.

Sign Ihenacho, pay anything. Signing him would be a massive step up for us.

Another vote for Iheanacho here.

Attributes we need from a new striker:
Young? Check.
Good goalscoring record? Check.
Done well in the PL? Check.
Within affordability range? Check.
Has pace? Check.

If we can get it done, we should throw everything at it.

Whilst I definitely agree with Bilic we waited too long for these kind of targets (tricky balancing act if trying to get the very best), what i do like to see is the Club aiming for genuine quality to better the team. They get full marks for ambition if not in execution of the deal. If we want to seriously improve we have to have the occasional top target, we just have to realise when enough is enough and not leave it to the last knockings like last summer again.

I'm also another big fan of Ieanhacho.

Was he the one who was due for a medical but didn't turn up and claimed it was because he had "over slept"....and then signed for someone else a couple days later.

Yep, he flopped at Atletico Madrid so we tried to take him on loan.

The deal was all finalised but at the last minute he went quiet and ended up at Benfica instead.

He's not scored many goals for them either so at the age of 26 don't know why'd we want him. Doesn't look strong enough for the English game,

hopefully we will get business done early.

Ileanacho has to be a top target. 20m yes please. zabaleta coming here could help. we would still need another forward and I would look at andre gray or josh king.
two fast young forwards up top would be great.

sell valencia 10m ?, sakho, 5m ? release callereie

would see us with ileanacho gray/king, ayew carroll fletcher martinez
Apart from carroll all likely to be fit most weeks. carroll as sub for plan B

RB Zabaleta

midfield - nolito to replace snodgrass. send him back to hull as part of the maguire deal (+5m)
siggurdsson 25m

defence - RB sorted zab and byram LB cresswell and masuaka
CB maguire to provide cover for injuries due to age and 3 at back

GK - Adrian sorted and number 1. randolph number 2

Also get rid of tore,ardeola,hendrie.

Need to look at backroom staff as well. replace 70 year old fitness coach and getrid of dicks. Replace dicks with collins as player/coach.

a few ins/outs but we woud be so much stronger all round. Top 8 finish and a decent cup run please.

What ambition? They are reported as having offered £40 m + ! where was that money coming from? Quite besides the point that Laccazette had, publically claimed he would only move to a CL club, ffs.
If Jinxed is to believed ,I view Bilic's comment on wasting too much time on Lacca as a veiled dig at Sullivan for dropping initial interest in Slav's first choice , Bacca, to go on a fruitless pursuit of Lacca then Batshuayi

Found a video featuring all the stuff i said we didn't do
That scarecely looks state of the art training techniques there in a state of the art training centre. A few pot shots at goal, to say nothing of some rather poor goalkeeping too. In fact, it is exactly the same thing you see us do in pre match warm ups. Aside from the hard running we are suposed to do, I wonder if we do anything else in training ?

I think I saw a stack of used car tyres in the background in one of the shots. Say, you don't think we still do that, do you ?

Keane and Lukaku are about to step into the starting line ups of their former 'bigger" teams next season for huge sums of money after taking a step back

That should be the clubs sales pitch...plus the extra money

I know it is silly season, but there area couple of interesting rumours out there. Some of them even make sense.
Ayew to Marseille, Ogbonna to. Chelsea, Feghouli to Roma, Carroll out
Zabaleta in, Ihenacho in. Smalling or Ake in Batshuayi in

If we could swap Ayew, Carrroll, Ogbonna and Feghouli for Ihenacho, Batshuayi Zabaleta and one of Smalling or Ake
We would be well set.

Smalling is being found out, he is not very good at all. Ake id invest in, even if he isn't yet as good as Ogbonna, but Smalling isn't the defender we need.

The only way we've turned Barkley's head is if we also have over £30m to spend on a player with a year of his contract left. And massive wages.

And if he has been in a living coma for a year and has no memory of this season
