Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Just catching up on the last few pages... Exciting times.
THANK YOU Jinxed for passing on what you know. It's a thankless task being an ITK, especially in this social media, need to know everything now, cynical world we live in. The vast majority of us appreciate the info you pass on, and take it at face value for what it is.

Seen that too. Need to get a shift on if we want that deal.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Isn't that the natural flow of things? The big clubs hoover up the young talent, 50% of them don't live up to expectations, they have learned (and earned) a bit on the bench and trianing with better players, they move to the medium prem boys whilst taking a wage cut.
UTJ- reckon u should write your review in the style of a pretentious wine review with phrase like "full bodied", "nutty texture" and "payet like in its ability to promise much and ultimately leave a sour taste in athe back of the throat".

I feel even worse for Jumby.YorksHammer wrote:Assombalonga signs for Middlesbrough. Please think of me at this difficult time.
That bit of news will have him feeling like he's just gone 12 rounds of sparring with Michail!
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Baldé is a proper talent. I'd say he's better out wide than as an out and out striker. Got pace to burn, decent shot and enjoys running at people.

Wouldn't count on him unless this Milan stuff is a smoke screen. He seems inches away from signing for them. We'd have to really dive in head first.Patito wrote:Baldé is a proper talent. I think it's an interesting idea too. I didn't want to directly agree with Rars though because he was a dick to Jinxed earlier.Burnley Hammer wrote: At last, someone else thinks it too!

I hope we still have several irons in the fire for that second striker signing. I believe we need to bring in two to replace Calleri and Valencia and to prepare ourselves for the inevitable injuries to be suffered by Carroll and Sakho.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
So how many minutes of pre season games will the new signings play before somebody on here writes them off as not being good enough?

Hart's already been written off by half the fans, so I'm going with "zero minutes".Burnley Hammer wrote:So how many minutes of pre season games will the new signings play before somebody on here writes them off as not being good enough?

? don't think jinxed said we were getting rid of ginge. Jinxed referred to keita baldé, the lazio winger/strikerWCpete wrote:I hope we don't get rid of Ginge. I think he'd be happy to play a handful of matches, and he's been great at stepping in when our cb's are collectively crocked, and putting in a few solid performances.
