Some want out of the energy drink cup Rafa to manage us. Would love it just love it for us to get something up there to end the prospect.

...............................Hart.........................
Zabaleta........Fonte....Ogbonna...Cresswell
Antonio......Noble....Rice....Obiang...Ayew
..........................Chicharito......................

Would probably prefer Collins over Fonte but can't see Collins playing twice this week.

We need four from the next two, so a point with a good performance not the end of the world

I expect this team (not saying it would be my choice ):

Hart
Zab
Ogbonna
Collins
Cresswell
Obiang
Noble
Kouyate
Ayew
Antonio
Hernandez

Really wish we had a left winger instead of Ayew.

So they haven't scored a premier league goal yet and could possibly have a new manager on Saturday? Sounds like a perfect time for West Ham to roll into town. History tells me that we tend to do well in situations like this :crest:

Need to try and find a set up that can accommodate an up for it Sakho and Hernandez.

When Sakho's in the mood his running and work rate pulls defenders out of position, especially useful away from home on the counter. Hard though to quantify his current fitness and mindset.

Perhaps he could play wide of Hernandez in a three, but not as a winger, more through the channel cutting in.

Desperately missing Lanzini.

Hart

Zabaleta Collins. Ogbonna. Cresswell

Noble. Kouyate Rice

Antonio. Hernandez Sakho

The front there have plenty of goals in them.

Noble and Rice to allow Kouyate to make forward runs.

That's a slightly surprising front 3 there mate but I can definitely see the logic behind it and I defo agree with it on balance. If we could see the Sakho of 2 or 3 years ago (not expecting a season of it but certainly for this game fingers crossed) - ie. working across the line like him and Valencia did for those few months, it'd be a viable option at least in the short term before Lanzini/the Austrian nutjob and/or perhaps another body comes back into the squad.

Personally I'd still like to see a back 3 and a resulting formation from that, but I can't see Slav doing it, so with a back 4 I'd agree with your 11 here (my slight preference for Adrian aside), and to be fair we looked solid tonight, albeit against lower-league oppo and in the context of a 4 4 2.

Just hope Ginge gets the nod ahead of Fonte.

I'd start Ginge if he has the energy for another 90mins, but personally I think he will be on the bench.

lineup i would like:

Hart
Zaba Collins Ogbonna Creswell
Rice Obiang Kouyate
Antonio Hernandez Ayew

lineup i expect

Hart
Zaba Fonte Ogbonna Creswell
Noble Obiang Rice(maybe Kouyate?)
Antonio Hernandez Ayew

Have I missed something? I thought Lanzini was back in training and supposed to be back for this, but no one's listed him in their team...

This has got defeat written all over it, the last two games we've played up there they've been absolutely desperate for a win and both times we gave it to them.

2-0 West Ham.

Obiang and Lanzini on for Kouyate and Antonio when knackered

We do, however he got himself sent off. Ayews fine to play out wide like he took his goal tonight.

A goal in the first half without conceding will really settle us down I feel. Two would be great.

0 - 2 to us. The Pea and Antonio :scarfer:

I don't think it helped them at all that hey had to play the extra 30 minutes of extra time, and lost. We on the other hand had a routine Victory even if we had a fairly long trip home. The victory should lift our mood and if we ge big Willy in that should give us a lift as well.
