Bit harsh.
Even if Noble were dropped, I can't see our performances improving. The same conversations were had last season. With or without Noble we were ****. Not much has changed.

Yes, because our best midfielder in the cut and thrust of the premier league, the one with the physicality and drive got shunted to right back and centre back.

As I said in the match thread, Noble might not be amazing but no one stands a chance playing alongside Rice and Fernandes in a midfield three at this level, at least give himself to work with and then slate him
I know we've got Slav and the other heirachy, but would Fergie (to name just one example) let sentimentality, contracts, etc get in the way of a sound team selection decision........?

Obiang (a far superior player) has a bad game and is benched by Slav right away.
Stuff like this can't go unnoticed within the squad.
What mess.
This is a good point.
Obiang has had a few poor performances for us, but many more very good ones. He has had a few matches when he was MOTM for us, when was the last time we said that was true of Noble? The only defence those that keep him in have left is that the other players are worse. How do we know if they're always out of the side after a poor performance, while Noble is in no matter how he plays?
TV showed Hart trying to console Rice after the first goal yesterday. According to some on here, Antonio was the only other one to go up to him. Is this true? You'd expect the captain of the team to be the first to him surely?

He was too far away for him to reach, can't run that far anymore.
