With Huddersfields frantic pressing do you think Zabaleta has it in him to play in central midfield for the first time in his Premier league career in a game we simply must win?

I am not sure the answer is 'get as many defenders on the pitch as we can.
What is there to suggest that Zabaleta can play any better in the middle than Noble?

I can see this being a high scoring draw because we cant defend, 2-2.

Huddersfield play with very high amounts of energy and press very well, I actually fear for us in this game. Still, I still believe we will get lucky and scrape a 1-0 win.

Has it come to this?

We shipped 3 goals each against Southampton and Newcastle two teams we could have reasonably expected to beat.

We are now due to play Huddersfield ****ing Huddersfield and the fear of a thrashing has people on here saying we should pack the defence and play Zabaletta as a DM.

The day Huddersfield puts the shits up us is definitely a sign we are ****ed.

God help us when we play any more of the top 7 teams they will go double figures at this rate.

Thanks Sully and Gold you not only sold us a pup with the next level dream and robbed us of our home now you have screwed us as well.

A bit like Spurs then, who have not fared too well against us with those tactics at our place in the past few seasons.

Common sense alone should do it. Rational thinking as a fall back if not.

I appreciate that Noble is rightly under a lot of scrutiny in there but also think it would be a different story if Kouyate, Obiang and Lanzini were all fully fit and available to play in there with him as opposed to the likes of Rice and Fernandes who lack the experience needed at this level. As was evident for the first Newcastle goal.

One thing I am fairly certain on is that a right back who looks every bit as leggy as Noble is not the answer.

I don't believe it would be his first time. He played there a few times last season

So far, he seems to have shown just a bit more fight, and his reading of the game from a defensive point of view would naturally be a little better.

People still putting Noble in the starting 11??? Have you not watched him this season USELESS wouldn't even make the bench if I was in charge. I can't see us winning this with our squad how it is. 3-1 Huddersfield 3-0 down after 20mins empty stadium apart from Hudders fans and Bilic sacked at half time.

Zabaleta played there for City in the champions league and was far better than Noble but so is my granny and she's pushing up daisies!

I think we should try to win this one.

Try to score as many goals as possible and also try to concede as few as possible. You know, the way it's done.

Boy that'd be sweet alright.

------------------Hart
----------Zaba. Reid. Masuaku
Antonio---Kouyate--OB1---Cresswell
-----------------Lanzini
-------Hernandez------Sakho

More Pace/pressing, Zaba & Cress have pace around them. Both can interchange with Chiek & Mas respectively. Would like to see more fluidity, link up play, & unity/team id. If Cress doesn't deliver Oggy to LCB & push Masuaku to LWB. Ayew for Sakho or Lanzini also seems a natural option.

1-3 Ammers :scarfer:

We will scrape few wins by uninspiring performances and then beat Spurs and all will be right in the WHU world again.

I'd hoped that with ST holders moving, selling all 52,000 seats and maybe a good window that the LS might be a little bit better place to attend this season.

I was wrong, it's going to be even more toxic than last season :thdn:

I think the important thing here is not to lose by more than 2 goals. Once we go 2 down I would like to see 6 at the back.
