When you go to a boot sale and spy a load of LPs you quite fancy the look of.........total up the price at £12 and think, 'I'll try my luck here'

Over comes heavily accented Meerkat seller, having been called in by his mate.

" I'll give you £10 for the lot, mate", I say.

Vociferously he replies, "no, no, no, no, no!"

He does a count up and then in heavy accent says , "£7".

Okay. I say bemused - and walk away with some fairly mint early 60s LPs. Image

Larking around with my 5 year old when he tells me "Watch it, or I'll pound you in the peanuts!"

Tried to tell him off, but was too busy laughing!

About 15 minutes before I was due home from hospital after my gallbladder op , my son [ who is partial to the odd Chinese Takeaway ] asked everyone ' Is there a takeaway we can all have that Dad doesn't like ? ' .

I'm pretty sure he had my best interests at heart . :)

The tramp asleep outside Fenchurch St station this morning, on his side facing pedestrians, hands down his trousers clearly holding his knob.

Shy Pigeons - walked out into the garden last night, two pigeons start the mating game, fella jumps on the back and I look at them, he notices, and jumps off. I look around the garden, then back to the Pigeons, he is on top again, sees me looking, jumps off again, I did this 3 times, all 3 times he jumps off :D

Cooked some chicken last night and left it on the side to cool and went into the living room. Cat jumped up and I head the plate move that I’d covered the chicken with. Ran out to the kitchen to see the cat on the work top trying to get at the chicken. I let out a yell, to which the dog which had followed me out, tried to chase after the cat. His paws just kept slipping on the lino and it looked like something out of Tom & Jerry. I had tears running down my face from laughing at him, the poor little git.

The GD -Bilic thread, transfer thread, plus a few others, the spleen venting makes me smile. Many have good points about the club, just makes me smile as I think they are hammering their keyboard with replies while shouting obscenities at their screen.

Why do people who name these conditions make the name of the condition, difficult for those suffering with it. For example:

Lisp
Dyslexia
Rhotacism

I think they have never grown up and love watching people squirm trying to either pronounce or spell the word.

It's cwuel isn't it!

I love the bit at the end of the episode when Raquel storms in and lists the songs that they had to sing. "Oh yes, after cwying we had The Gween Gween Gwass of Home and Congwatulations" before Rodney chirps in with "followed by a Medley of Wock and Woll"

It's Friday.

Decent weather forecast for tomorrow.

And no West Ham to ruin my weekend.

Our 10 year old Dog, Alfie, died last weekend.
I cried for a few days and am still devastated.
The last day or two, though, I PMSL thinking of some of the crazy, quirky things he used to do....
Such as tricking me into thinking there was someone at the front door but, when I go to answer it, he stole my sandwich.
Just a whirl of emotions at the moment. Sorry guys.
