Time to turn that around.
Since that game weve got a record in the league there of:
W- 2
L- 2
D- 1
GS- 7
GA- 6 (4 last season)

Wouldn't say that's too bad personally, granted there's a 4-0 cup drubbing in the middle of all those.

Anyway I also would opt against starting Andy Carroll on Saturday, as well as i think he played against Huddersfield he would play straight into there hands, Mcauly evens etc would nullify his threat. Would personally go with Chicharito on the shoulder with Arnoutovic, Obiang etc threading balls through.

Hart
Fonte Reid Collins
Zaba Cress
Obiang Kouyate
Arnoutovic Antonio
Chicharito

Would be tempted to start Noble over Kouyate if fit as hes better on the deck

fitting everyone in is going to be difficult for bilic when everyone is back...we will have to rotate and use impact subs...he has to have the man management skills to get some big egos to be happy with this

for saturday, i'm tempted to say, dont change a winning side or system...that said, carroll may be knackered after running his legs off

if we are to change it, id be tempted to have andy on the bench, arnie on the left and hernandez up top...then use andy off the bench as an impact sub

its just great to have options!

Mmm........
Away from home likely to see less of the ball. Why waste possession lumping up to big Andy?
Better off the other way around and use pace and movement on the break. Andy handy for defending set plays etc but kind of wasted away I feel. Impact sub ideally on the road.

tend to agree

people were clearly disappointed that hernandez came off on monday night...i think he will get far more joy on the road with the opposition more likely to push forward and play a higher line....

wouldnt be surprised if he get 15-20 goals this season, that the vast majority will be away from home

My thoughts are always the same at The Hawthorns.

We'll probably lose.
We might win.

Arnautovic is a luxury and cant start away from home, same as Ayew.

Would still go with back 3 but drop Zab in there in place of Fonte as hes better on the ball and with distribution.

Noble into Midfield 3.

Cresswell and Antonio out wide.

Hernandez and Carroll up front.

Carroll to drop to the bench for this one. We need pace up front. Might be an unpopular view but he's stayed here now so i'd play Sakho.

Same team as against Huddersfield, same tactics applied with the same desire and we will get a result no problems.

Arnie, Ayew and Hernandez would get massively p!ssed off with that, Carroll won't be fit regularly enough to even try this out. A nice idea if you were playing a Fifa game from the early 00's but in reality I really don't think this would work.

Lots of industrial parking close to ground or 'Just Park' app. This is a good ground for easy parking. Just be careful of the m5 roadworks. Give yourself time.

There is a massive one bang opposite the ground across the road from the home end. Can't remember how much but we parked there couple of seasons ago for the FA Cup humiliation. Shitty game but couldn't fault the convenience of the parking!!

Agree that Carroll should be on the bench for this game. Playing him would be what West Brom want us to do because they are well prepared to defend long balls. See how well they did when Burnley played against them with Sam Vokes as the lone striker. I think they limited them to only one shot on target.

I'd start with Ayew, Lanzini (if fit), Antonio and Chicharito as the front four.

I would go with an unchanged side. Partly for consistency, but I also think Carroll will be as important for his defensive capabilities here as attacking.

1-1

Hernandez.
