Little things that irritate you

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

I do this but then I use one of those gun things at Tesco so you can scan everything on the way round.
If all goes well and it doesn't ask for a service check, I am out in less time than someone with 10 items.

Special licenses should be made available to anyone wanting to put on a display, because trusting people to use them responsibly has never worked. Deeply antisocial.

Anyone who lets them off other than the allotted times on 5/11 or closet Saturday night should be punished with a rocket up the arse.

I like fireworks, especially going to a container on the A127 and doing a ton on things that go bang.

Three things really. Two I despise and one I love

First one is letting myself get out of shape. I hate that I've gotten comfortable with someone and consequently put on a bout 10kg. Have made a promise to myself that I will be in decent shape again by Christmas.

2nd is how hard it is getting back into shape, utterly hate the process of losing it. So much easier to keep in shape than regain it.

3rd one is I love when I feel like I'm getting somewhere, feel so much better over the past couple of weeks as a result of eating healthier and working out again

I hear you, tubby.

I know that everyone will have a view, or advice, or counter advice, and you're going to get bored hearing it. But......

I had put on a bit of extra timber over the last few years, and about 3 months ago I started on the 5:2 diet. I love food more than life itself, but I actually found it a piece of cake :)

I've lost about a stone and a half, and now I'm totally awesome.

Not being able to read the match threads until the game is over otherwise I jinx the match and we lose. Strangely enough every time I go to a game we win these days. I should go more often.

I have to catch the bus to work every day which can cause irritation for the following reasons:

Litter, it's a bus not a mobile bin take your rubbish with you.
People who assume that the bus will stop at their stop with out pressing the button, then complaining because the bus did not stop.
People commenting on the lateness of the bus, which in turn causes more lateness!

I do not know how the drivers do it sometimes, they all have more patience than me.

On a non bus related joke, people playing music with out putting earphones/headphones on! Just blaring out of the phone or music player.

after waiting 9 weeks for a telephone/internet line , and after telling SKY to do one , I had talktalk round to install yesterday , ( they've been great btw) excellent communication etc , however the berk who installed it , pulled a chunk of plaster off my new wall at the master socket , and then proceeded to plug the phone into a dead socket in my living room , which is no wonder it didn't work ., after plugging the phone into the master and setting up the router , the internet still didn't work as of 6 am this morning, im hoping by the time I get home it'll be working .

got to love the communications industry

The bloody Audi advert that implies everyone who drives a car that isn't a new Audi is a clown.

Well I've got a 17year old Passat. I'd rather be a clown than a c**t.
