She's always reminded me of a ladyboy.
Bet she's got a hairy back.

The old boy at the station collecting for the poppy appeal at 5am every morning, utter commitment, I need to remember to dig out some money for Friday and pop it in. Which some people in this country had his commitment(unless he is an insomniac), fair play to the lad.

God yes! I brought a load of these for the kids for Halloween, but held a couple of bags back, just in case, I totally pigged out on them last night watching a double header of Louis Thingmebob, I don't eat much sugar, and couldn't sleep last night, due to I think, the amount of E's in my system, last time I said that, the E's were a total different kind.bubbles1966 wrote:

Reducing my BT subscription, including cancelling the TV....
"Aren't you interested in BT's football offering, Mr Bubbles?"
"I support West Ham so European football really doesn't do much for me...."

Sky: would you be interested in the sports package so you can watch X many games for X amount a month
Me: no point, you never show our games
Sky: who do you support?
Me: West Ham
Sky: You’re right, there is no point, thanks for you time

Did they really say that? You have to applaud their honesty, if they did

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
I posted a few months back about how my Alfie, our 10 year old dog and best friend, passed away. A load of the support on here was amazing
We eventually ended up getting a puppy (Billy) to keep our 8 year old, Pickle, company. Bought him home just over 3 weeks ago aged 13 weeks. He is an absolute hooligan! Billy gets on great with Pickle, though the latter is still struggling with the fact that he is now the pack leader. If that makes sense?
I didn't want us to get another dog so soon after Alfie died, but it was definitely the best thing to do, without meaning any kind of disrespect to the memory of Alfie or trying to "replace" him, which nothing ever could.

More likely to have been due to the sugar.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Took little burn, he’s 7, to Duxford museum today, years since my old man took me there. Lovely clear day, all sorts of things flying about, some great exhibits, spread over a good area, and a really good lunch.
He was fascinated going on the concord they have, opened mouthed as the bloke tried to explain how fast it was. Great day, just me and him. Bought him an American style flying suit and bomber jacket, and myself and old fashioned style faux fur lined flying hat.
But the best bit was standing under the Vulcan looking up into the bomb bay, and he says “dad, this one is my favourite”.
