The other great picture from last night was Adrian catching Kouyate’s head

There's another good one of 5 of our players in a ring around Kane in the area. I like it because they are all on their feet - thre was no diving in yesterday to allow for theirs.

But regardless of that, if you are satisfied with west ham playing that way. Fair enough. That is your opinion and perfectly valid
I, and it seems a couple of others (albeit a minority) are not, regardless of points accumulated

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Utd match thread
I think its the fact some people are unhappy with a point at Spurs given our current state. If we had a decent hold up player up top from the start as they showed they had no answer to our defensive approach we could have won it.Crouchend_Hammer wrote:What is cobblers?
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Utd match thread
All things considered, it was a pretty crazy game. If you look solely at the possession and shot stats you would think we took a pummelling whereas we created the best two chances (Kouyate header and Ayew one on one) and never looked in serious trouble. I think Pinky got it spot on when he talked about Tottenham playing stupid football. They kept doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result, much like us and our long balls that were easily defended into Carroll against Newcastle.

Still gutted about the result but also keep thinking how good Declan Rice looked, to play like that at 18 is really something.

Could be the first £100 million defender. :-p Must be first choice for Ireland now as well which will do him the world of good in aiding his development.

I agree but would add deluded to their attributes. Oh I will enjoy watching them go into meltdown as their season unravels.DasNutNock wrote:Just read the OV for this one. My goodness. What a bunch of classless, ill-informed, cretins.

I agree with your sentiment re the Spurs game but we did also lose to Watford and Everton under Moyes !TommyHammer wrote:If we opened up and got smashed 4-0 last night would anyone be given us credit for having a go? of course not. Moyes came in to get results quickly and whilst its not been pretty we've lost just one league game under him so far (Ironically to Newcastle ffs)
We're now 12 points off 7th, is a late europa chase on?

A key attacking player in Antonio was also missinghadleighhammer wrote:Who was actually missing from the "depleted" first XI last night? Cresswell and Arnie is all I can think of, and even then playing Arnie with Lanzini may have been too attacking for Moyes against Sp*rs and Cresswell should arguably be dropped as he has been poor.
