Why are people who write about popular music in the media called journalists, but people who write about popular films called critics? Is film deemed to be a higher art form than music?

How do you make a double quote or a triple quote on Kumb ?

I see many people using this method of quoting but wouldn't have a clue how to do it myself .

If you have a look at how someone else has done it, by clicking quote on the post it should be obvious, but this is how you do it...

Here's a simple step by step guide:

1. Find image on the internet
2. In chrome right click - > copy URL
3. In KUMB, right click -> Paste
4. Highlight URL and click the "IMG" button.
5. Preview post to make sure the image doesn't display too big otherwise the mods will smash your face in.

As Sendo says, images must be on the web - i.e have a URL. If you have your own pictures these need to be uploaded to a file sharing site

Extremely hypothetical question for m'learned friends.

A man is incorrectly found guilty and jailed for murder. He's eventually released and realises the person he was jailed for murdering is alive and well. The jailbird then actually kills him.

Can he be done for murdering the same person twice? If yes, would time incorrectly served come off his sentence?

Asking for a friend...

Funny you should mention that. I've just read short story about exactly the same thing. They can't do nothing about it, he's done his time and you can't kill a dead person. He got off.

The scenario relies on a very rarely encountered situation; a murder case without a dead body. It has happened and did so fairly recently, where someone was convicted of murdering his wife, who had disappeared. But it is very rare.

However, on that scenario, if the jailbird you cite served his sentence, got out and then came across the person who was understood to be dead, and killed him:

1. His first conviction would be liable to be over-turned, and
2. He would then be on offer for trial for murder in relation to the second incident.

The more interesting question is the sentence, I'd have thought, but, in reality, he'd get a second life sentence.

Would time already served come off his second sentence?

Thank you , Hammerdivone , I think I get what you're saying , is it then possible to quote 2 or 3 seperate quotes , not a quote that's been added to someone else's as in the example you've given , if you get what I mean , say for instance I wanted to quote what you had said along with a seperate quote of say Mushy's and Johnny Byrne's Boots , 3 seperate quotes , is that possible ? If so , how would I go about doing that ?

Thank you for your patience .

Following on from Eggy's post in the irritate you thread.

If you're going down the road and something hit and damaged your vehicle after being kicked up by another vehicle and it's caught on a dash cam, can you make a claim against the insurance company of the vehicle that kicked the object up, or can you make a claim against the council/highway's agency? Or is there no claim at all?

Watch Double Jeopardy starring Ashley Judd for the answer.
