Good day out and a good performance for nearly all of that match.
Arnie was on another level, Lanzini clinical.
Collins a rock at the back, Masuaku didn’t quite give the ball away as much as usual.
MOTM between Arnautovic and Noble for me.
Thank god we don’t have those poxy clapper things at the OS.

Re: Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread
Just seen Nutty's (Dan's) vid and they were all superb goals. Theirs was pretty good to to be fair, but I loved the way Arnie juggled the ball, tootsies with the defender, for his second. Don't think they actually linked up for Lanzini's second, Arnie wanted it, but in doing so he made the keeper commit to one side and Lanzini quickly and intelligently went for the other.
Possession stats seem to mean sod all these days. The ratio was getting close to us vs Spurs last week but we did them 1-4.
Brilliant victory!

Just got in, fantastic win.
1st half was nothing to write home about, their goal was v good. Game changer was scoring so soon after the interval.
Some very good defending by Collins and Zab at times.
Armie and Lanzini were a real handful in the 2nd period, some great direct runs that really hurt them.
Noble pulling the strings once more
How many players threw their shirts into the crowd at the end??
Best away atmosphere since Stoke.
420mile round trip, back in Berkshire by 8pm. Roads were a dream coming home.
Good day all round.

Noble loses out ever so slightly to Arnie for MoM today for me, only because I think he could have done more for their goal, but all the lads played great.
Feels awesome to score 4 away from home
Well done players and coaching team

Can’t wait to hear the MOTD panel trying to pick holes in our performance.

Re: Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread
Excellent finishes for all five goals seen today.
Glaring defensive errors responsible for the first two goals conceded by Huddersfield - if either defender quickly hoofs the ball out to touch there's no chance of a goal.
An in-form Arnautovic is a real handful. Yes, it's a team game but he is the difference-maker. Remarkable, especially considering he's playing out of position.
Second goal showed Moyes' tactics were spot on: that was straight from the training ground - KO, hoof, flick on and Arnie nicks it. Fortunate in that the flick on came off Kouyate's back - couldn't do that again if he tried.

Collins > Reid IMO
Reid hasn't been at the races for the last season or two.

We played some fantastic football today , pressing as a unit, moving well, passing slickly at times .
Noble was absolutely bloody superb today, a couple of his first time passes were worth the admission fee alone .Arnie is proving to be a real handful, and Lanzini took his goals well .
Only 6 subs named by the Manager , with for whatever reason there being some notable absentees , one or two, perhaps, need to take the hint and move on .
Comfortably our best performance of the season, we were good to watch today, well worth the trip to the GN .
A mention to HTFC , nice to see a packed stadium with their supporters enjoying their return to the top flight after a couple of generations in the wilderness .Three stars on their shirts , a proper football club with a proud history , hopefully they'll survive .

Great away day. Brilliant atmosphere from both sets of fans - although those bloody clappers and a drum are annoying!
Great to see us win convincingly and couldn’t say anybody had a bad game which is good.
Time for MOTD!

We saw footage of Lanzini & Arnie smile & hug at the end of the match. No disharmony there.

Well they got that game squared away nice & quick, didn’t they. If that had been Citeh, we’d have had 15 minutes of footage & another 15 talking about Pep.
