Revenge is a dish best served cold. Or is it sweet?

Either way, you owe us, Eddie boy.

Be interesting who Bournemouth field tomorrow night. Here’s hoping for a late one for them either way.

Assuming Cresswell, one of Collins or Reid, Noble, Arnautovic and perhaps even Kouyate will return to the starting eleven.

Sure Chicharito will end up on the bench again.

3-1.

I'll be happy with a scrappy 1-0 again. Points more important than performance at the moment.

Since they came up, its two wins each, and a draw, with 23 goals across 5 matches!

Looking forward to this, has the potential for goals and a good game.

As per the norm currently, for me anyways, this comes down to how Arnie plays, bringing others into the game, like Lanzini, Noble continues his good form and I think we have the potential to be very happy hammers come 4.53pm Saturday.

Play the Ginger Pele as well please.

Ibe seems to have found some form for them, and Wilson looks sharp, keep them two relatively quiet and we can then look forward to 3 points, meaning no loans or buys as the shitehouse board will keep the 5p in the bank.

Hope we turn this lot over proper after Wilson's touch of 'magic'. However, this is the sort of game we usually lose momentum in (Leicester, Newcastle, even WBA before the last minute.) We're superb away from home but we look off the ball at home against lesser sides. Turn it on West Ham.

Makes a score draw look a fairly probable outcome.

Bournemouth are part of the midtable rump rather than the real stragglers imo. They're not drifting or spiralling downwards like Stoke or Swansea, and they have three years' PL money invested in their squad unlike the three promoted teams.

Funny game at theirs - all the quality in terms of goals came from us; theirs, even allowing for handballs, were just crosses that weren't dealt with.

Cresswell has had an absolute 'mare against these twice in recent seasons, getting rag dolled by Wilson et al.

I can see us going behind early but coming back to win 2-1 or 3-1. Lanzini and Arnautovic will be too much for them at the back in the form they are in and we look to have tightened up a bit at the back ourselves since we last played them.

The starting line up has to be the same as it was up at Huddersfield. Even though we are at home it is the same type of game and they must all be buzzing from that win.

I know we are at home for this one but we should set up how we did against Huddersfield. Draw Bournemouth out a little bit then let Marko & Manu tear them apart.

Adrian
Zaba, Collins, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku
Noble, Obiang
Lanzini
Arnautovic, Hernandez

Would be my team. Assuming Reid is injured.
Tempted to put Cullen in for Obiang, either way id like to see Cullen get some more minutes.

In fairness, Bournemouth are also resurgent after their own dangerous slump. Their last few results in the league have been (recent first):

W Arsenal (H)
D Brighton (A)
W Everton (H)
D West Ham (H)
L Man C (A)
L Liverpool (H)
L Man U (A)

Apart from the top 5, nobody has beaten them since September.

The main reason I want us to win this is because it may result in a stronger line up for the cup game a week later.
A draw or a loss and it will all be about the home game against Crystal Palace three days later.
Having said that a draw would not be a terrible result as there are tough games for everyone in our 14 team mini league. Not losing would also mean that we would have gone seven games unbeaten, which would have been unthinkable when we lost 4 - 0 to Everton at the end of November.

Can't see him dropping Obiang and Kouyate after the team performance at Huddersfield.
