Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 West Ham Utd (03/02/18)
A win would go a very long way to securing safety. Defeat would be disastrous given their recent form, another big game.

Reckon that the team that played tonight would win on Saturday. Antonio to replace Hernandez with twenty minutes left.

My ticket says something about "subsidised travel included". Does anyone know what this is about? Travel from town to the stadium maybe?

Trains to falmer from local stations Brighton/Lewes/eastbourne are free with a match ticket. The Boleyn Hound wrote:My ticket says something about "subsidised travel included". Does anyone know what this is about? Travel from town to the stadium maybe?

Reflecting upon how awful we were at home against these, anything less toilet is an improvement.

Wouldn't it just keep us at the top of a very big pack all as likely as the others to go down?Monkey Magic wrote:A win would go a very long way to securing safety.
The 5 points sp*nked away at home in the last few games would have gone a long way to securing safety.

Arnie should be back? He's only been injured a week and already back in training so shouldn't take too long to get back up to speed?HammerMan2004 wrote:Reckon that the team that played tonight would win on Saturday. Antonio to replace Hernandez with twenty minutes left.

Hard to know yet what team Moyes is gonna put out.
I want definite revenge for the home 0-3 but, we are away at their ground.
However, the wheels seem to have fallen off them, a bit (same as Hudd).
I'm not dissing Hughton but I'm not sure how good a manager he is. He's obviously not terrible but he failed to kept Norwich in the PL. Not that that is always the managers fault.
I wouldn't be unhappy with a draw, in the circumstances & a win would be excellent.

Re: Brighton & Hove Albion v West Ham Utd: match thread
Some news from a fan of a different club...the local OB appear to have a 'zero tolerance' policy, which, in their case, translated into a section of their fans being held at the local railway station and then told to get back on London-bound trains because there had already been 'trouble' around the ground.
Thus, people arriving with kids and who had otherwise done nothing wrong at all, were denied the chance of using legitimately purchased tickets, or even getting within sight of the ground, because of the actions of others who had got there earlier than them.
As for this match, I am hoping we
(a) retain a similar or the same line up
(b) beat them, prompting a further slide into relegation, and
(c) relieve them of Hughton, if Moyes isn't staying on after the end of the season.
Low-scoring, probably, but I fancy Hernandez will notch.
0-1 Irons.

Another game we must at least get something from. We can beat these, but will need Antonio and/or Arnie back to have a chance of scoring from open play...unless Hernandez ups his game some more.

This is the one. Really hope we can win this, especially after our home game. I still think they're going down with Huddersfield and Bournemouth.

Could do with some of that away form we've shown of late in the league.
Must not lose.
In other news, Brighton had a bid for Wigans Nick Powell(yes him!) knocked back today according to North West News

Brighton have scored only 3 goals in their last 9 games. They play West Ham in their next game. That means only one thing... another 3-0 win for them. Typical West Ham

Personally think we will win this quite comfortably
Would keep the same team as Tuesday but replace Kouyate with Antonio, or stick Kouyate with Noble and move Zab back to RWB
If Hernandez plays, he will score

Think the squad will pick itself: any fit player still contracted to the club should get us somewhere near the required number...Georgee Paris wrote:Can’t wait to see the team / squad for this.
