1 in 3 ratio this season, despite playing several games out on the wing under bilic & only playing 10 mins at the end of games under moyes.

Said all along play him up front, give him service and he will score. People writing him off a few weeks back for poor performances despite us just lumping it forward to him must be feeling a little silly now...

So what do people think, will Hernandez become the first West Ham player to score more than 10 premier league goals in a single season since Zamora way back in 2006/07. He’s currently on 7 but I think he’ll equal Zamora and get 11 maybe even 12 if he can nick a brace somewhere along the line.

I’d be surprised if he doesn’t score 10 to equal Cole (x2) in 08/09 and 09/10, Nolan in 12/13 and the miserable one (Sakho) in 14/15.

.

And that's without taking Penalties, a lick of paint away hitting the woodwork twice and his legit goal ruled offside on Saturday. He'd be close to 15 goals by now with more faith and a bit more luck. 7 under the circumstances whilst mainly performing in a struggling side is still a decent return.

I hope we persevere with him and Arnautovic up front together.

I think he and Arnautovic will get 10 - 12 each. An embarrassment of riches compared to what we are used to.

If Carroll hadn't have got himself injured again, he would probably still be on the bench, or may have been sold

I'm glad that donkey is injured, otherwise he would be starting, and Hernandez would most likely be on the bench. We don't need a return to hoofball.

Although moyes did play them both together a couple times, it didn't seem to work. And is not as exciting as the though of Antonio, Mario, Lanzini, Arnautovic and Hernandez playing up front together.

Benched for Lanzini...our best player

Really not a game for him to start today but he could still be a great weapon from the bench

I hope he comes on and makes an impact...

I think it might be the right call to not start him today, this is the sort of game you would typically bring him into later on.

I genuinely wouldn't be upset if Moyes dropped him for today's game but put him straight back in against Swansea (regardless of today's result) however I feel if we won today Moyes would keep him out the next game I'm sure of it. This is what annoys me. If he wants to play Arnie up top alone against the stronger sides I get it, it actually makes more sense but he must play Hernandez against the team's around us. He will get more chances and score the goals. I don't mind the 2 plans against different sides but I think Moyes uses excuses to drop Hernandez and keep him out the team.

Well, at least unsettling our star striker was worth it.

I wish him all the very best when he leaves in the summer. He's been mugged off 1 too many times by us dicking him around. Fancy dropping him bang in form against Liverpool.

We have one star striker and it certainly aint Hernandez. Have you seen him try to hold a ball up this season? Sure, hes scored a few goals recently but its obvious why he was dropped with Lanzini and Arnie both back
