Little things that irritate you

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Heads in phone, distracted, kettle has boiled and been left for at least a couple of mins, then they pour not boiling water into cold teabag milk, barely pay it any attention, stir a few times, then lift teabag out without even straining precious flavour and walking away without even once contemplating the horror they've committed.

I want to slice their faces off.

Absolute ****ing troglodytes, the lot of em.
You want a decent cup of tea, you have to drop out of the tea round and say "I'm making my own all the time, and no-one else's, ever". Once you've got over the offence and sarky comments you can just make tea how and when you want it.

Unless you are the boss and they are the minion making your drink because it's in their JD, in which case sack them for gross misconduct.

Horsey types in supermarkets.
You can guarantee bumping into one of these at the weekend in Tesco's. Walking round a food shop FFS plastered in mud & god knows what else. Usually a big red faced old boot that makes you fear for the horse if that gets on its back.
Get changed & have a wash before going shopping! Headbanger

Yes, quite a lot of the information they 'teach' you on PT courses are years out of date.

People that say "listen" before they are about to make a point. It just makes me not want to listen at all, as if they think their every word is so important..

In fairness, that is required when you're dealing with a particularly feckless employee and you're cc'd into other people, to gently remind them that you have already told them once previously exactly what they needed to know.

Little drop of loctite on the end of the bolt after you have tightened the terminal on will stop that

Thanks for the tip, gonna do all mine this week. What made it more annoying was that I didn't have the right sized Allen key in my tool bag to tighten it. Had to call out a recovery van. Really annoying.
