Finally had time to get through LA Noire in its’ entirety. Not being able to skip pointless cutscenes in games as well as being forced to listen to, honestly a decent song, to the end of every last bit of the credits too without being able to skip it. I get that they want people to take in all of the story but Christ on a bike listening to some of it is an arse ache!

Having my second windscreen of 2018 fitted to car today. Apparently i'm "first" on their list.

The "fitter will be with you for 9.45 sir"

9.45? Wtf!?

National Windscreens can be added to the list of companies I wont be using. :thdn:

It's something lonely, single women have come up with to help them cope with the fact that they will be unable to post pictures of flowers, chocolates and Michael Kors watches captioned "boy done good #keeper" on social media.

Of course, because fat ugly and entitled women definitely need a boost to their already vastly inflated sense of self-worth.

I've had more than one off his mum, but never a valentine's day card, sadly.

That silly Vodafone advert on the radio, the one claiming that having your phone able to be linked to your PC or tablet is exciting , the example they use is some boring sounding bloke "looking now" at some dress order.
That isn't exciting, the advert isn't exciting and Vodafone isn't exciting.
A more exciting example would have been sharing some exotic eastern European wee wee porn with everyone in the office by mistake........

Another vote for this. Working on a boat, stuff deciding to stop working almost daily at the moment.

I don't know who decided that a jacuzzi was a good idea on a yacht but **** me I wouldn't mind a word with them. Jet pumps, air bubble blower, in line heater, all protected from the elements by a plastic hatch that won't seal properly.

This story.

It all seems a bit odd. No real reaction from the mother that her toddler has fallen on the tracks. Was she drunk?

If that was my kid I'd have been on that track barely a split second after he was.

Old bank accounts, pensions, investments etc. that cannot be administered via the internet or phone and have to be managed by postal correspondence.

Bloke at work has a TSB ISA. He phoned them yesterday as he couldn't work out how to withdraw online.

It turns out that he has to go to a TSB (not Lloyd's) brach for a 45 minute meeting. Then, if they are generous enough to decide he is allowed to have his own money back, he can go in again a couple of weeks later and collect a cheque. The only way to avoid being subject to this administrative tyranny is to have your main account with TSB.

It sounds like TSB are operating by 2001 standards.
