Add another £50 to that. Reckon he'd have Jumby skidding around on a load of Micro Machines, followed by a swinging paint can to the balls and a boiling hot iron to the face, and finished off with him being tarred and feathered.DDHammer wrote:I'll stick £50 on him serving you up.

Re: West Ham branded celebrities
Has anyone tried getting a few celebrities involved in the march.
Someone like James Corden tweeting about why we are marching to his 10m followers would make the press.

and ruin any publicity grabbing freebie he might otherwise get. I'd have the greatest of respect for him if he did that, wouldn't hold your breath though mate

Celebrities won't get involved, but Russell Brand is someone that I'm surprised hasn't made anything of this, I think he's in with the GSB though, they made sure they got him onside. Danny Dyer and Ray Winstone kicking off a bit could help, but, again, they've probably had a corporate tapping up
Re: West Ham branded celebrities
The same Ray Winston that got heavily involved in the marketing (propaganda) campaign ahead of the move to Stratford?Jumby wrote:Celebrities won't get involved, but Russell Brand is someone that I'm surprised hasn't made anything of this, I think he's in with the GSB though, they made sure they got him onside. No 'probably' about it Jumby, this lot won't turn on their 'own'.

That would be lovely but also very unlikely I'm afraid.

It's a real shame, how Ray Winstone could get behind that lot I'll never know, he'd have been an absolute hero to hundreds of thousands, millions even, if he'd have sounded off and inspired others to join in. Imagine, with the power of social media today, Winstone, Dyer, Brand all kicking off, others joining in, the media picking up on it and seeing it as easy work to fill column inches and pages, it could have been brilliant.

How about Phil Jupitus? He's already stated publicly that he won't go to the new place. He's moved to the wilds of Scotland somewhere, I know it's all wild, so he could give TOMOS a lift down at the same time.

Re: West Ham branded celebrities
For someone who got banned by Brown for daring to call him out for 'raping the club' on Soccer Saturday I am surprised that Winstone would be averse to stepping up to the mark if he had issues but then as said he rather threw his lot in with the Daves I guess and no doubt been smooched by the porn Kings since.Jumby wrote:It's a real shame, how Ray Winstone could get behind that lot I'll never know, he'd have been an absolute hero to hundreds of thousands, millions even, if he'd have sounded off and inspired others to join in. Eddie Jones has confessed to supporting us. Says he loved "the big defenders" with Bonds in the middle and "the artist" Trevor Brooking.

Re: West Ham branded celebrities
It turns out that the England Rugby coach Eddie Jones is a West Ham fan from way back:
"As a kid back in Sydney, Jones was an admirer of the West Ham side of the 1970s and can reel off the names just like that. “I used to love Billy Bonds, Trevor Brooking, Frank Lampard, all those guys. They had those big tough defenders and Brooking was the artist at the front. He always reminded me of Greg Chappell playing football, a bit of an artist, and I liked that claret-and-light-blue jersey.”"

Me neither. Any relation of Henry Rollins?Kialos wrote:Never heard of him but looks like he could be a useful centre half
Re: West Ham branded celebrities
No relation but Seth Rollins is his character name and Rollins is a nod to Henry.
