I dont think we should be questioning him based on anything that happened today.
He has done enough to earn our respect.

Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
I'm not going to comment on whether he w right or wrong, but having been watching from the stand it didn't look like the invader confronted him at all
Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
Maybe he lost it, but so what. Are we now seriously questioning how Noble feels about the club? He is probably as frustrated as we are...probably more so in fact. Give him a break ffs.
Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
Me too but he just wanted to get on wth the game. Those first nuggets that came on just ran around like muppets. At least the fella with the flag had a point. I don't mean the one on the bottom of the flagpole by the way.smuts wrote:I don't he believe he felt threatened. He lost his rag.

He wasn’t threatened and didn’t feel threatened. You can see that clearly. He lost his rag because he’s Sullivan’s puppet and the bloke was protesting against the puppet master. But it’s ok because he’s one of us right...right?

I think he lost it especially when you look at how Collins reacted and he could have easily got himself sent off, given the circumstances and the desire to get back into the game possibly understandable to snap but having said it was in my opinion still the wrong reaction..

I agree. Going a goal down and then that happening made the Red mist descend.GaryP wrote:

Wasn't right to do it, claimed that he defended himself but it's clear the red most descended.
That said, it really does highlight one of our major issues, the stewarding.

Yep that's the conclusion I've come too also. I think he dropped a bollock today and shouldn't have reacted. Easier said than done if not in the heat of the moment and it happens but was it right what he did? Not for me, Noble. You got that one wrong.
Do I lament him forever and a day for it, no, as he's done so much good for our Club one head gone moment doesn't rewrite that history and instantly become a right ****. If he did it again, then I'd think different.
Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
No. No he ****ing wasn’t. I’ve stuck by him this season when all around me were coating him off. Well f*** him, he’s meant to be one of us, the last link between us and them. He’s broken that today. Shame. f*** him.

Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
Personally I think he lost it. We'd just gone 0-1 down and he was hugely frustrated and wanted to focus on the game and try and turn the game around.
No, I don't believe he was ever under threat or felt under threat, I think it was pure frustration on his part. For me Nobes was wrong, he knew why the fan was on the pitch the same as we all did. Nobes knows West Ham more than anyone and I believe that it must be breaking his heart as much as all of ours whats going on right now. For me he should have left the bloke alone. What happened today wasn't about the result, after the events of the last week it was almost inevitable. Like lancing a boil I'd say.
Vive la revolution.

Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
Nope.
A lot of the time we see players calmly get hold of the fans and gesture them off. There is no way one of our fans would’ve been looking to threaten Noble. His comments after are just as bad. Disappointing.

Re: Was Noble right to do what he did?
He definitely lost it today and let himself down with his comments afterwards.
As I said in the other thread though, I think he will come to regret his actions when he completely understands why the fans are protesting like this.

I've only seen the TV but thought it was a 'red mist' moment from Nobes that he possibly regrets. For all that, out of order from Mark and in stark contrast to how I saw 'Ginge'? deal with the lad with the corner flag.

Too precious to take feedback. Meant to be one of us but can't take a geezer telling him how sh*t he is.
Those players deserved to be told how sh*t they've been, they're not exempt in all this.
The fact they're going to Miami next week is a slap in the face to all supporters.
