Not that surprising Dave - we're just the mugs who turn up every game. He, on the other hand, sees himself as God. His security is paramount, and the rest of us can just f*ck off.
Only by getting rid can any semblance of normality return.
To assist with creating the safest environment possible for all and following direction from the Safety Advisory Group, several security gates will also be in operation throughout the Stadium both on the bridges within the lower tier and on the internal concourses, which will restrict fans’ migration around the stadium.
Be interesting to see how restrictive these are seeing when me, my family and friends purchased various seats in differing blocks people at the reservation centre told us there would be no issues meeting for a beer at half time.

They had them in place for the Chelsea game last year. I could get round from the Sir Trev lower to the Bobby Moore Lower to see my family.
We just went round the top tier in front of the seats.
Agree JBB, let’s hope it doesn’t risk any potential situations where people are crowded together and under trained stewards have to make a decision to open barriers (having been told not to in normal situations).
How could it effect egress from the stadium too after the game?

Somehow I doubt it.
Momentum (not the Jeremy Corbyn supporting campaign group) are an egress/ingress company who sit on the stadium SAG and they plan for and project all kinds of scenarios and flows of people.

I’m sure the health & safety executive would have been involved. I say would, but Sully banned them, because he thought someone said elf. Expect anyone on the committee to appear on met police wanted posters for crimes against anything and everything
Why don't we have triangular corner flags any more?
Lack of attention to detail in the "greatest migration in history"?
Or is it because we don't pay for them anymore in the "best deal for WHU"?
Can I just say, they can do as much high level security they want now, but they'll never ever take away that glorious 20 minutes of the most excruciating, cringing, humiliating, moment suffered for the 3 Directors that both we and they will never forget.
We finally got our moment and they will relive it in their minds for years to come and it clearly bothered them personally to understand our complete and utter frustration.
Personally, I wouldn't feel the need to protest at the feet of their perch ever again nor indeed do I have an urge to get on the pitch although respect those that did.
I trust that all stewards have been asked, if they wouldn't mind very much, to try to stay awake for 90 minutes during the match. They are more than welcome to nod off during half-time though, as there will be less risk of a massive pitch invasion then.
