We had 2 pretty ok goalkeepers, probably Adrian as passionate as you can get. Perfectly ok for West Ham.

Along comes Sully, says he can get Hart, pays out £ 100k a week, way more than Randy & Adrian ever got, maybe they shared that. Sully also tells the Press that Hart is the best goalkeeper he's ever worked with. Adrian says thanks for that.

Suddenly Randy is off (for a £ 5m profit) and Adrian disgruntled and likely off asap. Meanwhile, we're looking for 2 Premier League goalkeepers in the summer, start searching who can we get for a fee.

Well done Sully. Your running of this club is iconic in business circles.

Some pretty serious revisionism there. I quite like Adrian but he and Randy almost got us relegated between the pair of them last season with their regular errors. Randy was nowhere near Prem standard, although Adrian was good when he returned and instrumental in keeping us up ultimately.

However, to say that we had 2 ok goalkeepers is stretching it.

Great! So our Red (Russian garb) Dwarf will finally have Kryten as our goalkeeper.

If Sullivan doesn’t dick around on the price we will sign Sam Johnstone who is on loan at Villa from Man U.

What if Villa come up? Surely they’ll be in for him as well and he’d probably go to what he already knows?

As others have said why Sullivan had to sign Hart and piss off 2 current keepers that we actually owened is one of the most stupidest things I’ve ever seen West Ham do. No other premiership clubs even considered Hart.

If Adrian were to leave, I wouldn’t blame him, but we will certainly miss him.

Seems pretty obvious that Hart was guaranteed a few games before the end of the season - Moyes said all along he would get games - so presumably Adrian knew about that and has stomached it knowing/hoping he would be back as No.1 come the new season. Can't really imagine a long queue for his signature.

Adrian made one mistake that led to a goal, with the drop kick on Bojan, and he was dropped. Randy came in and was largely dogs**t to the point where the nation became aware that we were tumbling towards the bottom of the league with him in goal and Adrian, bizarrely, on the bench. Adrian came back in and played really well. That's what happened.

Adrian makes fewer errors than Lloris.

Feel a little sorry for the way Adrian has been treated over the last 2 seasons, he seems a top feller and gets's us, but I really think we can get a better keeper without breaking the bank (not Joe Hart!)

What about the goals against Watford or Everton? You do realise that just because you say the same thing repeatedly it doesn’t make it true?

There’s a reason why two managers have not committed to have Adrian as our number one. I like the bloke but he’s scared to come off his line for crosses, has rushes of blood to the head which leads to some decidedly dodgy decision making and his distribution is hit and miss.

But surely you know he is a winner and winners don't give up. He will be leaving a recording at his bloody funeral telling everyone death was a career choice.

Watford wasn't his fault, that was Ginge having a moment. He had a good game at Everton, I think it's scraping the barrel to say him parrying away a fierce low shot to the corner five yards to the left of the goal, only for our defence to freeze, allowing Bolasie to get there first and cross for the unmarked Lukaku, an error that led to a goal. But that's just it, when it comes to Adrian criticism quite often it's nitpicking "he f**ks about" did they score? "sometimes he punches too often" did they score?

The Loris thing is true, he made two errors that led directly to goals in one half alone last season.

Now a Hart-esque blunder from De Gea of all people!
