Zaha won't come to West Ham, he likes to get a penalty when he falls over in the box not a yellow card.

Wouldn't mind Aaron Mooy from Huddersfield, maybe not as a started but good player to have in the squad.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
I'd like to see us buy Tom Davies of Everton, blonde footballers are rare these days, we did well before with
one or two! Every time I have seen him play he's impressed in some way and I just think he could be a proper West Ham style player.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
Would it be wise to buy the keeper from the only club in the division that has conceded more goals than us.
In a year when we are probably going to break our own Premier League record for goals conceded.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
We need about 5 signings and that's before anyone leaves!
So much quality work to do and have very little faith they can finally get it right since 2015. Plus the added problem of a high turnover of playing staff that makes continuity so difficult to bed a new team in.

Jack Butland will go for more than Pickford , we won't be in the running - Fraser Forster of Southampton would be my choice , good enough for 1st choice or back-up .

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
#1 priority; reducing the age and slowness of our defensive players;
#2 priority; the lack of depth (and quality?) in central midfield;
#3 priority; tidying up the front line - £200k a week that is reserve/injured most weeks;
Working on the assumption that they won't put a penny net in it's going to be a question of who can be sold to raise a few bob.
* Byram (possibly)
* Collins (probably)
* Burke (probably)
* Evra (definitely)
* Cullen (probably)
* Snodgrass (definitely)
* Oxford (probably)
* Haksabanovic (possibly)
* Martinez (probably)
* Carroll (probably)
* Hernandez (definitely)
* Hugill (probably)
£50m if they're lucky.
Two to four signings for fees, four Bosmans or loans.
Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see us try to re-loan/Bosman both Hart and Mario.

Expectation that the players will be cheap, available, and willing.Iron Alex wrote:What's the obsession with signing players from relegated clubs?

Mario Balotelli is the one. I reckon he’d love to finally conquer England and we love a maverick Italian.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
What can one say to that other than 'exactly'. They have no capacity to learn and even less to change. I would say they exist just to wind us up but I doubt that they could plan something of that nature when to them we are nothing but ants.Colours never run wrote:We need about 5 signings and that's before anyone leaves!

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
Ah really, I didn't know that. Ok, I'm very interested now he's back in blistering form. I'm sure he'll have many suitors though and we probably shouldn't go for him because he won't suit our half baked squad..

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
Our main striker for of the 2018/19 season being a Bosman free sounds about right

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
I have no issue with bringing in a quality player if they cost nothing and money can be better used elsewhere. The key for me though is that the bosman player is bang in form, with plenty of years on the clock and is as fit as a fiddle.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
Much depends on what they're finally going to do with Burke innthe summer as if we are now going to use him properly here on in no more loaning, then only 1 top quality CB will do. If not, then it's 2 quality CBs.
