Norwegian Forest Cat. They are ****ing HUGE believe me. They have a really nice gentle temperament but don't let that fool you. They hunt anything and are really good at climbing and ambushing things - oh and they shed a lot of hair.

It's a Maine Coon. Really similar to a Norwegian, but even bigger. We've had a couple and they're very gentle and good company, despite looking like bruisers. They're almost like a dog, they'll follow you around and sit beside you for a stroke, and they like to play fetch. They do enjoy gifting you some mauled wildlife now and again though.

Since my first post, Mrs MB also bought Pedro's sister, which she's called LaFawnduh. This time next year we'll be ankle deep in cat fluff and mouse cadavers.

Ah - yes, very similar looking cats but I believe the Maine Coon is even bigger than the Forest Cat. Excellent choice sir - good job you got a black one, the ex had three white Rag Dolls and my wardrobe consists of mostly black clothes. You can guess the outcome - hair all over the place.

My ginger tom could have that big fluffy show off cat. He used to be a lovely house cat, but since the vet made us put him on a restrictive diet, he's turned into an utter c*nt.

Used to be a Maine Coon in a restaurant in Penzance, they are outlandishly big. I have heard though that they can turn nasty when they get old.

My next door neighbour where I used to live had a Norwegian Forest Cat, little fcuker got in through the window and literally landed on me in bed, nearly shat myself when I woke to see a pair of evil looking eyes staring at me, then the little b*stard went for me, when I tried to escort him from the building.

My friend has two Maine Coons. They are MASSIVE [the cats, not the friend].
