Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Picking up a large charcoal starter chimney in Aldi for only €6.99, well chuffed. :)

At half-time last night met an old boy who'd brought along 3 West Ham v Stoke programmes from the early 70's.

A joy to read through and chat to him about them, the players on both sides, and to find out he does it every home game for the team we're playing.

Top top man!

Everton having sent out surveys to fans asking them to rate Big Sams performance from 1 to 10, why didn't GSB think of that?

It would make me smile more if GSB sent out a survey asking fans how we rate their performance.

People on trip advisor who are recommending a restaurant and post a picture of an empty plate after they have polished off the food. I know what a plate looks like it's the food I am trying to see :D

A mate of mine likes to take pictures of the **** food he cooks and posts them to facebook. He likes to include a "before" picture in that - so recently he made a Lasagne, and the before picture was pretty much a pack of lasagne sheets, some mince meat and a tin of chopped tomatoes still in the packet.
