Hernandez seems to be a sub for a lot of previous managers as well.

I take comfort in the fact they didn't call anyone:- MeducksVic_Watson wrote: Why have a swear blocker on here and allow pointless filthy language on there? .

Yeah, not in Germany but for Real Madrid and Manchester United who were two pretty decent sides.Hugh Jargon II wrote:Hernandez seems to be a sub for a lot of previous managers as well.
I think he's looked very sharp.
Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
He has made mistakes all season. I've got no faith in him. But for me Adrian is only marginally better. They are two pretty poor keepers.Jay-Dee wrote:To be fair I think Hart had a very good game until the goal. The mistake almost cost us the game, but in general he's far better than Adrian. Prepared to give him another chance. Confidence isn't totally rebuilt in a couple of games. He will get even better.

I wonder which freebie keeper we will replace them with in the summer..
Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
I'd be shocked if we didn't try and poach Ben Foster (English, bit of a name, cheapish deal).
Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
I don't like Ben Foster. I'd prefer to go for a decent European keeper. English keepers aren't really up to standard right now.

You're probably right there Pats
Butland is a better keeper than he has shown this season, If Stoke drop would they let us have him on a loan to buy, I wonder?

I'm sure they would, they love us over there. They'd chuck in Bauer as well I reckon...

It would be a dereliction of duty to not replace Cech, that's for sure, but I get the feeling that they might baulk at recruiting from a relegated side...Crouchend_Hammer wrote:I think Butland will end up at Arsenal
Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
I think Tom Heaton could be worth looking at. Cant see either him or Pope happy bench warming next season so can see one moving. Would be too expensive for G&S.

Was anyone close to the little spat in the stands early second half?
It was just beside the tunnel in block 109 / 110. Looked as though a certain well known young blonde singer was caught up in it and moved to different seats.

If it was her, off of X Factor, her family were in the pub getting quite merry before the game, so I wouldn't be surprised if alcohol played its part.sutts07 wrote: It was just beside the tunnel in block 109 / 110. Looked to be her brother acting up a bit then getting put in his place.HammerMan2004 wrote: If it was her, off of X Factor, her family were in the pub getting quite merry before the game, so I wouldn't be surprised if alcohol played its part.
