Snooker
The best 2 weeks of non-West Ham sport of the year starts tomorrow and here's the draw:
Mark Selby vs Joe Perry
Mark Allen vs Liam Highfield
Kyren Wilson vs Matthew Stevens
Shaun Murphy vs Jamie Jones
John Higgins vs Thepchaiya Un-Nooh
Stuart Bingham vs Jack Lisowski
Luca Brecel vs Ricky Walden
Judd Trump vs Chris Wakelin
Ding Junhui vs Xiao Guodong
Anthony McGill vs Ryan Day
Marco Fu vs Lyu Haotian
Barry Hawkins vs Stuart Carrington
Mark Williams vs Jimmy Robertson
Neil Robertson vs Rob Milkins
Ali Carter vs Graeme Dott
Ronnie O’Sullivan vs Stephen Maguire
Selby or Ronnie are obviously the men to beat, but if one of them does slip up it could finally be Ding's year at 12/1. I also think Mark Allen is going to get to a final soon and his game has gone up a notch over the last year or two, and 33/1 is very generous for him.

Re: Snooker 2018 Worlds
Ronnie has been in imperious form but Selby's game is made for the World Championship provided he negotiates the first round ok.
A sterile, modern day Cliff Thorburn crossed with Steve Davis, incredibly hard to beat in the long matches past the quarter final.
Obviously be good to see my old mate, John Higgins out nice and early.

Hear, hear. My daughters have been well-trained to spot him whenever the snooker's on ("isn't that the cheating weasel, daddy?").White Goodman wrote: Obviously be good to see my old mate, John Higgins out nice and early.

Whitey I love your obsession with John Higgins, especially the 'I train so hard so he couldn't drop me if we ever fought' bit. Truly superbWhite Goodman wrote:Obviously be good to see my old mate, John Higgins out nice and early.

I can't help it. I've worked hard to control my anger towards certain things but have always failed to.do so where Higgins is concerned .
I'd love to have a full contact fight to the death with him and I mean it .
Thinking about it , any fight to the death is likely to be full contact isn't it but what I mean is , I'd mess his chubby head up quite a bit first.
Where does he even buy shirts that size collar ?!

Don't care who wins as long as it's not Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump or John Higgins.
Don't think I dislike another sportsman as much as dislike Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Defending Champion Mark Selby in big trouble in Round 1. 7-2 down to Joe Perry.

Out goes the biggest dick-head in sport, Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Hopefully Higgins & Trump next.

Re: Snooker 2018 Worlds
The draw is opening up nicely for my bets (Ding/Allen) but I have a horrible feeling that the cheating weasel is going to get to the final. How he gets applauded every time he comes into the arena I have no idea.
