Re: Little things that irritate you
The current over zealous crusading against all things plastic, like the worlds ills can all be traced back to people using carrier bags and bottles of mineral water.
They're talking about banning cotton buds, and have already banned plastic straws in many places. How about just a sensible rationalisation of the plastics we do use, coupled with proper investment in the disposal of used plastics?

Meeting smirkers. How about you try contributing something meaningful, you c**t, rather than sitting in complete silence with a "knowing" smirk on your face?
You c**t.
You c**t.

Yeah, Yorkshire Terrier and a Pug. Ooooh I'll be the terror of the neighbourhood walking them of an evening.

How about how much of the vets bills he will be paying considering their inherent health problems such as dodgy eyes and even dodgier airways?EvilC wrote:GCRO - I'm not sure what is worse, that you agreed to having it or that you are paying for half.

And don't forget all the "cute" clothes that pug owners dress their little darlings in, pink sweater will go well with the image.
Re: Little things that irritate you
Pugs are hilarious, so easy to wind up. Health problems are easily avoided if you get them from a proper registered breeder.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Driving on the average speed limit section** of the 'new' A13, out through Barking/Dagenham.
There I am, doing bang on 50mph in the outside lane, when some c*** comes up fastish, behind me.
I move over, if I'm not next to someone else, also doing 50. The c*** goes past me at much higher than 50*.
A little while later, we get to the end of the average speed section, so I increase my speed up to the national speed limit, you know, 90..
Except I can't, because now, that same c*** who thought that he didn't have to stick at 50 during the average speed section, is now insistent on sticking at 70 in front of me, in the outside lane, where there are now no cameras.
It simply doesn't make any sense.
*People have had speeding fines through this area. The cameras are working.
Why don't these obvious speeders seem to worry that they might get a speeding fine?
There must be a lot of drivers on false plates or in unregistered to their address, cars. They don't seem at all worried about doing 80 in a 40 zone or 100 in a 50 zone. Bizarre.
**Don't get me started on average speed sections, where, unless you've got cruise control, you have to spend as much time looking down at your speedo, as looking at where you are actually going.
Safety measure, my arse..
