Little things that irritate you

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Getting distracted while making lunch this morning and realizing at 10:30 that my flask of tea is, in fact, a flask of hot water as I'd forgotten the tea bag.

Black Sheep Coffee and their slogan "break away from the herd" or whatever it is.

Sheep don't come in herds and you've gone and put it all over your branding, you helmets.

Arsenal players on the tv and radio before last night's game saying "We want to win it for the gaffer"

Maybe if they had put more effort into winning some other games for him, he might not be leaving them at the season

No you're right , I'm not but I find it annoying when players make these statements , without acknowledging that they might be , even partly , responsible for his departure.

He herds his sheep into a flock.

The alternative to a shepherd (one who herds his sheep) is the Welsh version, sheepflocker.

There is a real issue with dog **** around where I live. People not picking it up and its all over the pavement, came home from work twice this week and found a huge pile of dog crap in front of my drive (the first time I reversed over it and its all over the wheels and on the drive!!)

Turns out it is a women in a motorised wheel chair who has 4 Alsatians and scoots along taking them for a walk and doesn't pick it up there are plenty of long reach scoopers you can buy on line. Failing that get someone else to walk them or don't have 4 huge dogs that leave a mess like the horse down Green Street used to on a matchday.
