Who’s going to win the World Cup?
Germany seems to be the common consensus. The strength in depth in their squad is ridiculous. They’re current world champions and have the luxury of coming home to their home continent having won the tournament an ocean away from home. A rare feat.
But it’d be boring if the favourites won it.
Could Ronaldo or Messi drag their sides to the biggest crown and cement themselves as the greatest of all time? Could France find a way to replicate their victory of twenty years ago? Can you ever write off Brazil?
Who for you?

Russia, 16-0 in the final, with Putin scoring a double hat-trick.

I thought North Korea had already won the 2018 World Cup? At least that's what I saw on a North Korean news channel on my kodi box!DasNutNock wrote:Russia, 16-0 in the final, with Putin scoring a double hat-trick.

If the French can get their act together, they have a great chance, they have the most complete squad, unbelievable depth, with quality in every position.

They do, but the one thing they don't have, is the temperament. They always have the capacity to beat themselvessomerset-hammer wrote:If the French can get their act together, they have a great chance, they have the most complete squad, unbelievable depth, with quality in every position.

It's always hard to look beyond Germany. The longer the tournament goes on, the better they get and unless their quarter final opponent plays out of their skin and gets a lucky result, they'll probably win.
Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, France and Spain all look good on paper but, as we all know, football's played on grass.

It normally takes the Italians to stop them...Puff Daddy wrote:They do, but the one thing they don't have, is the temperament. They always have the capacity to beat themselves

Will Belgium finally turn up?
French have a great squad, Spain will turn up this year as well I feel.
In truth, anyone bar Ze Germans.
