Steak & Ale Pie from the Deli in Morrisons. Plus Mashed Potato, Carrots, Peas and lots of thick Gravy.
Washed down with a Bottle or two of Doombar in front of the Cricket on the TV on my day off. All good.
(Apart from the Cricket!)

Following on from yesterday's post, I had a Steak & Ale Pie from Tesco for evening meal today.
It was absolutely awful :thdn:
The Pastry was utterly tasteless and wouldn't absorb any of the equally bland gravy. The actual Steak was a bunch of gristle.
The one from Morrisons may have been £1 more expensive, but it was worth every single penny of the near-£3 it cost. I wouldn't eat another one of the Tesco ones again.

Home made spag bol, which was lovely. Used any left over pasta to have pasta with hot milk and sugar - haven't had that for years. Lovely (if a bit weird )
