they never were going to develop stamford bridge......no room to develop the site - cost of development - going to take over 6 years, etc
it was all a ploy to use as a bargaining chip with the government for RA

I reckon we'll see Chelsea starting to drift down the table in an Arsenal kind of way soon.

This is what we need!
- A Warm Welcome At Derby County Football Club
http://fcbusiness.co.uk/reviews/the-fir ... in-the-uk/
When Mel Morris bought into Derby County Football Club in May 2014 he not only bought into the club but into the loyal fan base too. Being a lifelong Rams supporter himself he was conscious of the important contribution that fans provide to a football club.
Pride Park is home to 30,000 fans on match days and the importance of providing a warm and comfortable environment for spectators was paramount to Mr Morris, especially with more and more families attending games and the winter months being so cold.
Warming the Hearts of Fans
The heated concourse is thought to be the first one in the UK and has received a very warm welcome from fans with the club receiving very positive feedback verbally and through social media. It has been a valuable initiative adding to the enjoyment of a match day experience.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Re Derby, they also have a guy who has a stand(s) selling enamel badges inside the ground, or on it's property, not sure which. He's completely independent of the club but I would think he has to get his designs approved first. Something similar happens at Everton as well.

Bear in mind that a typical mobile phone shot will make the pitch seem much further away that it really is.....

In that case I must be looking at the pitch through about 8 or 9 phones :lol:hamstas_paradise wrote:Bear in mind that a typical mobile phone shot will make the pitch seem much further away that it really is.....

3 games in the world cup so far... all played in stadiums that are every bit as oval as ours, yet they all found a way to square the stands off to align with the pitch.
