I’m really starting to like Whyte. Watched his training with Nigel benn and he seemed genuinely switched on and humble in my opinion. I hope he has a good fight against Parker and gets a chance against one of the big draws. Still think he’d struggle against Joshua but there’s definitely a fighter, hunger and something there.

Why? Solid headline fight & solid undercard?

£20

A fight not even for a belt, or both no where near the best in the division
Brook against a no one, squash match
Connor Been who is not very good in a rematch
Guessing Katie Taylor

Should be a normal Sky card, PPV should be top fights not bleeding Dillian Whyte vs Joseph Parker

Whyte Parker is a decent match up, belt or no belt...

Taylor & Brook are big names for the casual.

The first Benn Reynaud was a great scrap, more of the same this time round hopefully.

Summers is a good step up for Buatsi, plus Takam Chisora could be decent.

Happy to part with a score for all of that...

its a good fight but not worth PPV. We are already paying more for sky sports than all of the other channels put together (bar cinema. The non ppv cards are absolutely awful these days.

PPV was supposed to be for the very top fights.

I think its time to cancel my sky sports.

It's more worthy of PPV than the majority of the AJ fights have been, excluding Joshua/Wlad and Joshua/Parker

At least in them fights, you've got a headline fighter and fight, sort of worth it, personally don't think it's PPV but fair enough but Whyte vs Parker as a headliner with Brook vs a no one, a basically retired Chisora and Katie Taylor is not a £20 card on top of the already astronomical cost on top of normal sky

Lewis Ritson decked Hyland Jr three times in the first round last night to win a Lonsdale belt outright. Time for him to step up?

Well done Josh Taylor, have been very impressed with him. When you consider has only had 13 pro fights, he has mixed with top level experienced guys and handled it well.

It would be fine as a regular Saturday night of boxing on Sky Sports. I don't think it's worth PPV, for a number of reasons mostly being that there is only one 50/50 fight of any relevance on the card (the main event). Whyte Parker is a good fight in terms of rankings, but has potential to be a massive stinker too.

Taylor and Postol was a cracker on Sat night, shame about the wide scorecards

WBA orders Joshua to sign for a mandatory title defence against Povetkin "within 24 hours".

Hearn's used his relationship with Sky Sports and played a blinder there. Will have everyone talking about how Joshua had no choice and Wilder ducked the fight

They never wanted Wilder next is the bottom line

I don't think that's true, it will be very hard for Joshua to arrange a fight with Wilder without giving up one of his belts due to mandatory fights meaning he will not be able to unify the division.

Sanctioning organisations would let a unification fight take precedent over a mandatory challenge

The WBA aren't strict like the IBF either in terms of enforcing mandatory fights, this '24hr' window to sign a deal seems incredibly suspicious and manufactured

I believe Joshua would fight anyone, Hearn doesn't want the Wilder fight next though

IMO, Hearn wants this to drag out so he can do a more lucrative summer fight with more notice at Wembley Stadium
