I’ve watched two BBC shows so far this tournament and Upson has been on both.

So ITV for me.

FFS. Despite being in Surrey, the offis egress IP range appears to be in the US, so no iPlayer.

Was going to go with BBC, But then I see they have Jonathan Pearce, Jenas, Upson, Shearer and Keown.

So looking like ITV, who edge it by having Super Slav.

Have a real dislike for Jenas, arrogant little pr*ck! So ITV for me, Slav, Neville, Wright and Dixon seem to have a bit of chemistry, bit of humour.

BBC picture in UltraHD is good via iPlayer.

Tiny bit of delay and buffering, but quality is good.

^^^ Yep - watching Egypt vs Uruguay in UHD/HDR on iPlayer. Great quality most of the time, but occasionally drops down in quality.

All the live matches on BBC One will show it, but only to the first 10,000 or so that access it from a compatible TV:

Also works on iPlayer through Roku or TiVo V6

Upson, P. Neville and Jenas on the BBC.

Dull as dishwater, only highlight was Jenas and Neville having a row. Jenas: " Don't tell me how to play centre midfield, Phil"

Itv is much better.

Alays preferred the BBC in the past, but ITV has edged it so sar.
Like others, the likes of Jenas and Upson is excrutiating.
Gabby Logan looks nice though.

It’s worth looking at Twitter when Lawrenson is on. Certainly excelled today in terms of misery and not having done his homework. Hoddle stating the bleeding obvious and offering no insight on the other side is his only serious competition.

It’s a shame Tim Vickery is consigned to 5 Live..I think he’s excellent when it comes to talking about the Sth American sides.

Both equally bad. Almost every pundit and co commentator clearly shows they don’t watch anything except the Prem and a bit of champions league. Both desperate to make out like the world cup’s still some great spectacle of football because it’s all they’ve got.

Worst (by an absolute mile) = Jermaine Jenas. Bloke is excruciatingly bad, shouting over others, talking in a matey “banter” tone.. the only way the Beeb could do worse is if they have Chris Sutton commentating on England

Best = Slav, Drogba, Scott & Matterface

The above is a perfect example of why Jenas has been employed in an erroneous attempt at the BBC’s “get Ukip on question time, it drums up viewers” mentality

He’s like a thick newsround reject

Slav and Alex Scott the highlights for me so far. Agree with the comments about Lawro and Jenas, also think Roy Keane is an utter waste of space.

Agreed, it’s like he’s constantly trying to wind everyone up with repeated bad takes.
