Things you've always wanted to know......

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

If a bloke had three legs that all worked perfectly well (diddle iddle iddle um), would he be better at football than a bloke with two (diddle iddle iddle um)?

I think he'd fail at the first hurdle, not being able to get a pair of shorts on .... which in itself leads to the question, if said chap (let's call him Jake for argument's sake) had shorts made for him, would they be called a triple or a trio of shorts?

No,

He would get sent off for three footed tackles,

Sully wouldn't sign him anyway as he would need to buy two pairs of shin pads, boots and socks

Well if you're prepared to part with a few hundred quid for a glorified pac-a-mac, that makes you hard alright; hard to figure out............or just stupid!

Why don't they lower the flood barrier at Barking Creek to keep the water in at low tide on the River Roding? At high tide the river looks a hell of a lot better than it does at low tide, it means that people could use the river more for kayaking etc, plus of course it might help the developers shift the poncy flats they're building.......

How the hell do some people watching games at Wimbledon, manage to sit there for hours in the blazing sun with no hat on?
If I tried doing that, I would die.

Watching Serena crush some poor little Bulgarian the other day, I thought " she's cute as a button" ( not Serena).
Where does that phrase come from? What's cute about a button?
