Re: Andy Carroll
Rumour on twitter...not sure how accurate it is but very believable, unfortunately. Needs to be just fired as true. Not like we can sell him and his contract up next season so get rid of now IF it is true and don't have to pay him another years salary...terminate for cause.
Re: Andy Carroll
That is one of the rumours...the other one is sackable if true.wigwig wrote:Had a fight with Winston, both on the transfer list apparently.

As Johnny Byrne's Boots has posted on the transfer thread.

My tweet seems to have started some wild speculation about Carroll and Reid. Just clarify a bit further that the news is injury related but all will be explained by the club later.

Re: Andy Carroll
The rumour on Twitter is that Reid and Carroll were out drinking last night, broke curfew, tried to sneak back into the hotel and Carroll fell and ruptured his ACL.Ludeksgloves wrote:Could somebody please explain the rumours if ehat has happened?

Re: Andy Carroll
Hopefully it's to say both are close to full fitness and in consideration for the game at Wycombe.

Re: Andy Carroll
Collinge said: “Andy played and scored in Sunday’s match but is still reporting some discomfort in his ankle and further scans have revealed that he requires some minor surgery to provide more strength and stability to the area.
“Winston has been suffering some swelling around the knee injury that he sustained at Swansea last season and he too is in need of explorative surgery to clean up the area. We have decided that this is the best course of action to ensure that both players have a chance of returning to full fitness as soon as possible.”

Re: Andy Carroll
Out for at least 3 months.
4 months then until he’s match fit.
6 months until he is injured again.
11 months and we can say see you later!

Re: Andy Carroll
How does discomfort in his ankle result in at least 3 months out?
Strap it up and get on with it ffs.

Re: Andy Carroll
1 more season and we will be rid of all of this crap. Not his fault, but he is the worst pound for pound signing that we've ever made.
