don't really matter now mate...
you don't need to show voter registration or even photo proof of identity to vote these days..
says it's unconstitutional to make you prove who you say you are in order to vote..
however you still need to prove who you are to get on a plane or a borrow library book. Apparently not unconstitutional for me to prove who I am to borrow a book but to vote for someone to run the country ?

Guessing, but in evolutionary theory one species doesn't evolve on a linear basis, but diverges. It doesn't follow that related species cease to exist. There's a link between ants and wasps, can't remember who begat whom.

I always thought Uber was just an app that enables to get an unlicensed taxi/cab?
they cant be unlicenced, they might not know where they are going without satnav , but they have to be licenced or they just cannot work . i used to work in the cab trade .

My understanding is humans and apes had a common ancestor and that humans evolved in one direction and modern apes went in another.Cuenca 'ammer wrote:I posted somewhere else..

My issue with evolution is how do you evolve a double circulatory system? That seems like one hell of a leap that could only really be taken in one mutation.

You can arrange squares so that your troops won't be firing on each other.Rocketron wrote:In the Napoleonic Wars, why was the British defence a square and not a circle?

This is probably stupid of me but you know the way reversing sensors work on cars, could something similar be fitted on a blind persons walking cane and they wear blue tooth ear set to warn then of obstacles.
It's probably already been done
EDIT: I was right already been done and looks amazing

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
I assume you mean the infantry square formation?Rocketron wrote:In the Napoleonic Wars, why was the British defence a square and not a circle?
This formation was to tackle cavalry - the idea being that you have lines of troops on all sides, so that the cavalry cannot flank your unit and attack from the rear.
A square works better than a circle because, when facing horses, you need to be a few men deep to be able to present a decent line of bayonets/swords to scare or sufficiently injure the horse or stop it breaking through.
With a circle the men at the back, say 5 men deep, would be too tightly packed to be able to manoeuvre, whereas those at the front would be too far apart.
