Speaking of cats, one of our kittens had her lady parts knotted by the vet yesterday. I'd expected her to be laid up for days, but this morning she was bouncing around just as much as usual, her little kitty uterus just a distant fading memory.
The other one's kajangers are next on the menu, poor little dood, I can barely look him in the face.

I'll never forget when we had our dog done, the "Dude... how could you, I thought we were friends?" look I got will never leave me, that and the whimpering. Poor sod.

Funnily enough I don't, I did read on this very site a few years ago when it was under discussion that I was missing something really nice but I simply cannot imagine anything inserted up there that would make me feel nice.

Having been evacuated from our remote house Wednesday evening around 10 o'clock, we were told by the police we HAD to leave due to the rapidly approaching wild fires, we arrived home around 1pm Thursday to discover the fire brigade had managed to contain it overnight and the water bomb planes had finished it off in the morning, our house and the surrounding land was untouched, phew!
Also glad that you're back in your home Algarve, I've got a friend in Vilamoura who sent me pictures of the smoke. It looks nasty out there but hopefully it's under control.
First decent dark night sky at my new gaff and i can see the outer arm of the Milky Way, got me astro sky bins out and the eye pieces were full of stars in the thousands , cant wait to to get the proper Celestron out and have a proper look
