Special chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls, Chinese roast pork, salt and chilli chicken, beef and ginger, chips and crispy chilli beef. Stunning. Enough for lunch tomorrow too.

Some of the best plant sources of iron are:
Beans and lentils.
Tofu.
Baked potatoes.
Cashews.
Dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach.
Fortified breakfast cereals.
Whole-grain and enriched breads.
As for Cholesterol are you on tablets? I think most are I am and my bad cholesterol is 1.5 so the nurse said.
A fit bit has helped me in managing walking etc, you can soon clock up 5000 steps without trying and the recommended count is 10,000 a day.

Made a large pot of chicken chili, with coriander wild rice. Not unsatisfactory.

Dunno about tonight, but since the wife & kids are off on holiday tomorrow (with me arriving thursday), I'm determined to empty the fridge before I leave, so will be a "fridge raid special", I imagine.
