I'm going to keep my eye out for some different italian sausages, as the M&S fennel ones are a bit heavy on the fennel, but then that might just be me.

Deffo want to try it with some lamb. Any type of meat on the bone should be good in it, as the meat just falls off and soaks up the sauce and tastes phenomenal.

Pork & Fennel is just a magical combination.

Tonight is pasta with roast tomatoes, onions & garlic, peas and parmesan. I'm f*cking skint.

Peas are a basic human right, like clean air and high speed internet.

I'm glad you told me that Dan, I'll mention it to my ISP and see if they can improve on my 10mbps, if they argue, I'll take them to the court of Human rights, I'll tell 'em Dan told me it's my basic human right.

Oh, hang on, are you being facetious?

Didn’t the government try to argue that fast internet was a human right and that it was unacceptable that people living in the middle of nowhere couldn’t get 100mb download speeds or something?

I'm going to have sausages tonight, and I have yet to decide on recipe. I do want to involve fennel seeds, though, but haven't got much further than that. Had pasta yesterday, so something else this evening.

Peas on the side, obviously. Unless you spunked them all on the pasta last night. Generous dollop of mustard. Can't go wrong.

I did, in fact, finish the peas last night. Can of mushy peas sounds like a good, revolting, substitute

Spaghetti Carbonara.

Imagine being a vegan and missing out on beautifully simplistic dishes like that?

Tonight I'm making a version of parma chicken....

Butterfly chicken breast and hit with a rolling pin until the thickness of a £1 coin.

Cover in well seasoned flour (mixed herbs, salt & pepper, garlic powder) dip in egg and then coat in breadcrumbs.

Shallow fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Place on an oven tray, top with Mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar. Cook for a further ten minutes at around 200c.

Enjoy.
